I have thick, coarse, difficult hair with multiple cowlicks & far too much volume. I usually pay much more to walk away thinking “Well, it’s shorter & I’m no longer overheating in the sun, so I guess it’s fine.” Every time I see what Nicole’s done, I’m honestly overwhelmed – she’s the only person I trust with my hair now. My hair is no longer a nuisance to me, it’s a fun way to express myself!!Beyond the superb technical skills & obvious dedication to her craft, Nicole’s an amazing human being. Like, she can stop over for a beer whenever she likes; being in her chair & getting to hang out with her is an absolute treat. As a queer Appletonian, I’m massively grateful for her non-gendered pricing, stunningly welcoming & inclusive atmosphere, & presence in our town. There are millions of words in the English language & I could never string enough of them together to express how much I love this salon, but here goes. I have thick, coarse, difficult hair with multiple cowlicks & far too much volume.
