The staff was very friendly, and my nails looked good at first but the day after getting my acrylics done I had the gel come completely off of one which has never happened to me before. I had another one pop off a few days later and eventually just popped the rest off and they came off extremely easily.

I usually do not leave reviews but people need to be wary of a few things. I made an appointment for a pedicure & a gel manicure with tips added. The man who did my pedicure did a decent job overall, but I do have so nail polish on my skin that he didn’t even try to get off. This is minuscule compared to my gel manicure. Firstly the guy who did it seemed to be in a rush and was rough (even though an appointment was scheduled). Not only are my nails already coming off after a few days but he cut the skin above my nail bed a couple times. I actually bleed a little at the salon & all he could ask was “Did it hurt”. Not to mention I have a crazy amount of air bubbles in all the nails. Not impressed or satisfied at all. Just worried about getting some infection now from being cut so many times & the fact that it happened in a nail salon with tools I couldn’t visibly see coming out of a new package or from a sterile cleaning machine. Do not go here and do not recommend to anyway. Way too many problems for $118.

Let me start by saying I used to praise Noire Nail Bar! I was a loyal customer for years. After I had my son last year, I took some time off, rightfully so. I decided to start taking time for me again and started coming back, sadly a lot changed at this salon. They no longer take appointments on the weekends for acrylics. There used to be two men who were really great at acrylics, I believe their names were Brian and Ryan. One is still there and he is still great. However, I havn’t been lucky enough to get him the 3 times I’ve been. I get the newer guy, who sits at station 6. Unfortunately all of my experiences have been poor. He struggles with applying nail tips so they’re straight. Half of mine were crooked, and when I asked for them to be fixed he said they’d straighten out once they were filed. They weren’t, so I asked him to redo them and that was an issue. When he applied the actual acrylic it was thick near the cuticle and thin at the tip. He struggled to do encapsulated nails both times and when applying polish he wouldn’t applying to the tip or the sides of the nails. He also applied the acrylic in/on my cuticles, which was extremely uncomfortable and painful when I needed to get them removed. The last time I was there I got a basic full set paid $75 and the set didn’t even last two weeks. I used to really love this salon but sadly the service isn’t what it used to be.

I’ve tried to give this place several chances and they disappoint everytime. Tell me why it cost 80 dollars for thick, uncomfortable acrylics with a design I did not want. I showed the technician a picture of what I wanted and he said he couldn’t do it and to choose something else. I asked to just do the French tip which he said he could do, but it obvious now that he can’t. He hurt me several times and my nails are thick, uneven, and poorly painted. I will never come back here and you absolutely should not waste your money here.

By recommendation from colleagues, I expected a pleasant experience at this nail salon. Here’s a look at my first impression: I called to make an appt and they said it wasn’t busy so walk-in. I said I would arrive in 10 min and once I got there I had to wait 30 min to be seated. I would recommend having a client already start with the SNS removal process during their wait. Expect to soak half of your fingers in acetone and have sticky residue left all over your fingertips. I had a nail tech who didn’t speak English so communication was impossible without an interpreter. She had to interrupt her colleague with another client to interpret what I was asking and this happened about 15 times. After she dipped my nails and was preparing for the final coat, I took a look and saw a ragged film of SNS on my cuticle extending to my skin. I asked her to shape the SNS to my nail bed, she didn’t understand and asked her colleague to interpret. She did the bare minimum and I had to ask her to do it 3 more times because she kept packing up the equipment thinking the work was done. In the midst of all this, she and her colleague were irritated at the situation. And, I’m sitting here in shock having to ask for the appropriate quality for SNS on my nail not my skin. On top of that, she left SNS all over the sides on my skin from my previous color and the current color. She attempted to remove it with a nail file on my skin! I had to ask multiple times to get that removed. At this point, I’m appalled at the fact that I have to micromanage the process of getting my SNS. She stopped at every nail and looked at me pointing at my nail waiting for approval. It seemed like she was brand new to SNS. She still left set powder underneath my nail bed leaving it sticky. About 2 hours in, she gave up and I was fed up with the service, lack of quality and attention to detail. To reiterate, I’m speaking to this experience with this nail tech. It seems the salon doesn’t have a manager or owner present to take feedback or anyone who cares to even take any and when I called to give feedback more discretely that in person, I offered to just write a google review and they replied with a careless attitude and said ok fine. My advice would be to be intentional with your nail tech and have an appt set it stone.

It’s just ok. The first couple times I got my acrylics done the guy was super fast. He did a great job though. I’ve been there a few times since and he doesn’t seem to be there anymore, and the work just isn’t the same. It isn’t terrible but for the money they don’t look great. I’d go there if I’m desperate but on the regular I’m going somewhere else.

I get my nails done by Ryan…Ryan with an ‘R’. I just have to clarify that because there is also a Brian there. Ryan is VERY fast and also does good nail art. My nails NEVER have lifted with him which is impressive because I had been experiencing that alot previously. I recommended him for sure. Acrylic nails
