Today I spent $130 for the MOST unprofessional work I’ve ever received. I got a pedicure which was supposed to be a colored French tip. Which all the lines came out different and they are dull. Mind you it was supposed to be gel. Which is what I paid for. Then I got a full set, the man right next to Tom started my nails and I’ve never seen such unprofessional work in my life. For starters his hands had cuts all over them and were dirty. He didn’t bother to put on gloves. So after he started my acrylics I quickly noticed he didn’t have a clue what he was doing… so I asked for Tom who usually does my nails. But I guess since I had to ask for someone else he was also unhappy. He RUSHED my nails and the design is sloppy. I left with glue and polish all over my fingers. I’m so upset to say the least. I should’ve asked for a refund but didn’t want to be the “angry black woman” in the salon. But I’m never coming back.

They will do any design perfectly too. The only thing I will say is the massage table is like laying on a flat board. Not good for a bad back. Came and got gel Polish and it was very messy.. I could feel like they just wanted me to get out.. Pretty messy job and they charge me $30 for getting gel polish with no manicure or shaping… It’s only 35 or 40 for a full acrylic set at the place I usually go to and they care how it looks when you leave.. Don’t worry I won’t come back .. as if you care 🙂

This was my 3rd time coming to this salon, last two visits I was satisfied with my nails. I went yesterday for a fill-in, I informed my nail tech that I wanted to change my shape as well, I currently had square & wanted them oval. He cut my nails down which was fine but I also reminded him I wanted oval shape, he proceeded to file them as square & rounded the edges (as they were already), by the time he cut my nails down it was impossible for him to reshape them. There was many times during my service I had to ask him to add more acrylic on the edges because he seemed so focused on the center of the nail & didnt cover the edges. My nails aren’t even, the polish doesn’t cover the full nail on the sides & the nails he had to add more acrylic aren’t filed smoothly.

I had gone on Friday afternoon to get a full set with gel polish. The guy that did my nails, not sure of his name because he didn’t tell me, was extremely rough to the point where my natural nails hurt. He seemed to be rushing when placing the powder and didn’t use the UV light to dry the gel polish. It took him asking 2 people what I wanted with my nails done even though I showed him an image. Finally Tom was able to put the lines I wanted on them. However, next day one broke. I came back Monday to get it repaired, and the same guy seemed to have an attitude about it and cut my cuticle so badly that I was still bleeding and swollen 30 minutes later. She didn’t acknowledge the cut and spoke to me like I was trash. It was incredibly frustrating to be treated like that. I’ve had my nails done for years and decided to try somewhere new, but I’m never going back after this visit.

I went with my young daughter and two friends for a morning of manicures and pedicures. I told the man who was wearing a hat that I wanted the basic $30 pedicure. He asked me three times about the $40 hot stone option after I clearly pointed to the $30 option. That’s aggravating enough. Then I ended up paying $47 for my gel manicure which is quite expensive, imo. And apparently, trimming my already very short nails isn’t included in the price of the manicure. What?! My daughter’s princess gel mani and pedi was $45 I guess. Their prices need to be more visible.

This is my second time here I was hoping that my second time would be better than my first time but I was wrong I wasn’t even offered a choice of color the nail tech just assume I want it black I am not confrontational but my nails are so uneven I have a bubble on the top of one of them i even showed the nail tech one was messed up after washing my hands and it was just Sanded down and it looks horrible my nails are uneven I have acrylic powder cake up under my nail my thumbs are shorter and longer and it just looks terrible I paid $48 for a fill in and three nail repairs it looks horrible I am very unhappy I just want to cry not going back.
