I was very nervous and wasn’t happy with my hair from a previous stylist at another salon so I didn’t know what to expect at noir being that it was my first time. The nail stylists was friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable, but not about nails. My nails are only painted down the center no polish on the side of my nails by the nail beds,my cuticles are painted over, the nails are all different shapes and have a these pits in them because they were never buffed.

After relocating to MI earlier this year, I tried out a new salon and had a couple of terrible experiences with color resulting in my hair falling out in clumps from over-processing. My once thick hair was quickly quite thin. It was very scary to say the least. I decided I would give up color if I had to since I would rather be grey than bald but was hoping neither had to happen. Of course, I had to start by changing salons. Again.

I’ve been going to Salon Noir for about 8 years now. I’ve gotten numerous hair cuts, colors, highlights, a makeup application and even had my hair styled here for my wedding. Ive also brought my 6 year old son in a handful of times for cuts. I’ve seen many of the stylists and they have all been wonderful. Great salon with fantastic, friendly and talented stylists.
