Been going to Nogginz since 2017, when they were in Dexter. I have straight, dirty blonde hair, and always wanted my moms curly ginger hair, so I started coming here. Jenn, my stylist, manages to make my hair look like this every time! They have quite a lot of notes and instructions saved on cards for how to manage my hair properly and get the color just right! Everyone thinks im naturally ginger, and thats the goal!

I went in this afternoon around 2:00 and requested for Jodi to do my hair. I went in with a verbal description for my color and a picture description for my cut. Jodi literally took one look at the picture and absolutely nailed it color, cut, and style. She’s knowledgeable, fun, and very kind. Would absolutely recommend this place for your hair needs! I asked for a pretty short haircut. I don’t get my hair cut very often, so when I go in to get it cut I get it cut short and let it grow out for a while before going to get it cut again. My hair was maybe 4 inches long on the sides, maybe 6 inches on top, and the stylist was incredibly hesitant to cut my hair short. She was very uncertain and pushed back pretty hard when I asked for a quarter inch guard on the sides and expressed concern when I asked to cut a couple inches off the top as well. In the end, she did cut my hair the way I asked and it turned out okay, but it was a bit frustrating to confirm over and over that I did indeed want my hair cut short. The haircut is what you would expect for the price. It’s decent. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t go in with high expectations, especially if what you’re looking for is pretty different than your current hair.
