Quick, easy and cheap. Ever since I started getting my haircut at No. 1 Cut & Perm, I haven’t been anywhere else. Tina and Lori are both extremely friendly and good at what they do. I live in Petaluma and have had horrible experiences with hair salons and their results. I found #1 Cut & Perm in San Rafael through a referral and will never go anywhere else again. I cannot say enough about this team of 3; Lori, Diana and Tina! Such a pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, fantastic results, they know what they are doing, and even the customers in the salon at the same time I was there were so very friendly and kind and shared the same enthusiasm that I do. They made my day.

BEWARE!!!! I had a terrible experience here. I would not recommend this salon for a perm. I’ve been getting perms since 1970 and never had any problems until coming here. It seemed like the perm solution was expired or diluted with water. No smell and it didn’t take to my hair. She used a very small amount of solution instead of saturating my head like all my past perms. I’m a senior citizen and also disabled so I think the stylist felt she could take advantage of me and i would not be able to do anything about it. I let her know that I was unhappy with the results and wanted my money back but instead she told me to come back in a few weeks and she’d do it again. On my second visit i got the same results as the first time. Not only was my hair damaged but I also was out $170. I demanded a refund but she refused. She had no integrity or pride in her work. Just wants to get you in and out as fast as possible. A very disappointing experience, would NOT recommend this salon!!!

Quality, courteous service at a very reasonable price. Lori and Tina are both kind and personable, but more importantly they give quality service and will usually accept an appointment request within an hour. Even when she has to squeeze me in between other appointments, Lori does a great job and I never feel like she rushes me out.
