Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI called ahead to make an appointment because they suggested it. I was seated right away but they were short staffed so I didn’t see a tech for about 30 minutes after my appointment time. That didn’t bother me because they were really polite. I didn’t feel like I was being sold extra things like I usually do when I go to the nail salon. this is my first time to this one but after seeing how my gel mani/pedi held up over a week, I will be back. I called ahead to make an appointment because they suggested it. I was seated right away but they were short staffed so I didn’t see a tech for about 30 minutes after my appointment time. That didn’t bother me because they were really polite. I didn’t feel like I was being sold extra things like I usually do when I go to the nail salon. this is my first time to this one but after seeing how my gel mani/pedi held up over a week, I will be back. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI have gone into this place a couple times primarily because it is close to my house. I have gone in mostly as a walk-in, and the service for a walk in was often really secondhand services to anyone that made an appointment. So, the next time I needed my nails done, I took it upon myself to call and make an appointment. I showed up on time for the appointment, and no tech was expecting me. They did have my name down for the appointment, but all the techs were doing pedicures and maybe one or two of them were doing nails for other women. I was confused because I scheduled this appointment for a reason, so that I would be scheduled with a tech (because I haven’t had a bad experience with the techs there). The man running the floor ended up seating me in the spare chair (#1), and doing my nails on the side while he was excepting calls, making appointments, and handling the crowds of people coming in. He was so back-and-forth with doing my nails that he missed a lot of steps. He would do things to one hand, then walk away, then forget to do the same step on the other. The quality of the nails were so bad. My nails were very bumpy, uneven, no fingers matched and they were definitely not almond shaped (which is what I asked for). It wasn’t until I went to a different salon and asked for the same thing that I realized how bad he butchered my nails before.I have read reviews left about the store and the owners responses to them. The owners often mention “a picture is worth 1000 words”. So I have attached two photos, One is from NK nails, as marked on the actual photo. I asked for almond shaped nails and you can tell that they are not almond and my thumb is very miss shaped. The other photo is three weeks later at a different salon, I asked for the same thing, almond shaped nails with gel, and as you can see they really knocked it out of the park.
