Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityUpon entering Ninteen85, my first impression was “Beautiful.”This is not your average nail salon. I’ve been to plenty. The aesthetic is very open and pleasing and it makes it feel like a sanctuary in a very crowded, busy city. It’s very welcoming. Everything inside has a very premium feel while still being beautiful and artistic. This is not your average stale/clinical feeling nail salon… you want to spend time relaxing in here. Even down to the music selection, just BEING here allowed me to take a beat, breathe and relax.The receptionist/manager, Leah, is very friendly, charming and warm. Everything is handled with an easy, bright smile and a welcoming manner.Anisa did my gel mani and my buff/shine pedi. Her attention to detail was truly impressive. Rarely have I seen such exacting cuticle work or a drive for perfection. I personally have an issue with physical contact/touch with strangers but Anisa made it easier and more comfortable than I’ve ever experienced.She did a fantastic job with the matte gel mani and the pedi.Another member of the team, Katie, also took the time to engage with me while she had downtime between clients. This is another unique aspect of this salon I haven’t experienced elsewhere. As a former retail manager, I’ve got an eye for this kind of stuff. This team wants to be here and loves what they do.I only briefly met the owner but she came off as that unique blend of passionate and driven while still being warm and welcoming that is very difficult to find.I haven’t had the opportunity to interact much with the other members of the staff but based on my experience, I would happily be back. With all the wear and tear from sports, a pedicure bring my toes back to life.Thank you Leanne for the amazing treatment.
