THEY DAMAGED MY HAIR SO BAD! Do not go here.. my hair was past my shoulders all my life and NEVER have I experienced this! Even when I got perms! I went to this salon February 20th washed it a month and some change later and my hair came out in clumps! Tried calling salon multiple times NINA the owner wasnt there! I’m so heart broken, my hair was shedding after the Dominican blow out the whole time Severely!!!!

I am furious and will be consulting and attorney. I have natural hair and visited this shop twice in November for a wash and set. I have had wash and sets done to my natural hair previously by other Dominican shops and never had any trouble with my hair returning to it’s natural state. However after two visits to this shop my hair texture won’t return to it’s natural state and my hair has thinned and fall out tremendously. If you have natural hair stay away from this shop the shampoo that they use has a reengineering chemical in it that alters the texture of natural hair and causes the hair to thin and fallout.

Took my daughter’s to Nina’s 2 weeks ago. Definitely a NY styled Dominican salon. Washed and set my daughter’s hair just like how we would get in NY. Gave 4 stars cause the wait was a while (about 40 minutes to be seen) but will be back cause they did a great job. Oh and go early cause by the time we left, there were alot of people waiting to get their hair done.

Critical: PunctualityNot only was she late. She does not disclose her prices upfront. She straightened my hair only! I came washed and blow dried and she charged $35! I could’ve gotten a full service somewhere else for that price. She said $20 on the phone but claims it’s because she blow dried my already dry hair. Said it was to necessary to get it straight but charge $15 for something she needed to do. If she couldn’t get my hair straight with just a flat iron she should’ve just said that and let me go somewhere else. I’m from NJ and been to Dominican salons a lot and received better service with less heat! Paid $35 for heat damage smh. Do not waste your money find a professional. She is the sweetest! I got a blow out she got me in and out in an hour (hair was already washed) the hairstyle lasted me 3 weeks I have 4a hair and it’s thick but but it gets really flat when flat ironed But it has volume when she did it

The 1st time I went she did an ok job, the 2nd time she did a great job however charged $60.00. The 3rd time was a Disaster the shampoo lady skimped on the products.
