I LOVE Salon Duo! Best haircut I’ve ever gotten and that shampoo room is pure heaven. They do a phenomenal job and are incredibly friendly, even the people who aren’t directly taking care of your hair. Also, one of the best things about this place is that they are not pushy about appointments. At other places, I feel like I can’t leave until I make another appointment, and with a busy schedule, it’s hard to know when you’re going to be free next. That being said, with many other places, it’s impossible to get appointments when you are free. Salon Duo was packed when I went there, but they still managed to accommodate me when I was free and I really appreciate that they worked around my schedule. Great place, great haircut, and when I finally work up the courage to get a color, I’ll definitely go to them! I saw other stylists coloring other people’s hair and everyone looked happy with their service. I’ll definitely be going there for as long as I’m in Augusta!

Brought my teen daughter here on short request for a fix to her hair coloring. Kelley was great with my teen who was very happy with the end result. I was able to relax on some comfortable couches while I waited. I’m glad we found Salon Duo and the friendly, talented staff.

After moving to Augusta I needed to find a hair salon and was recommended to come here – it’s been the best decision. The atmosphere is amazing, they always have drinks available while you wait, and the staff is wonderful. Nikki cuts my wavy/curly hair and always makes it look perfect.

I scheduled an appt. with Hope to have my hair colored based on the reviews. I emailed her a photo of the hair color I wanted. It was a platinum blond with light ash tones. She assured me she could accomplish this. My hair ended up being very dark at the roots followed by orange then yellow towards the end. I expressed my disappointment and shock. At that time she made a sarcastic remark. then put a toner on my hair which gave it a greenish hue to it. She may be up to date on the new trends but lacks the skill. Would definitely look elsewhere for coloring unless you enjoy orange, yellow and green hair

Destroyed my hair for $300 after telling me I wouldn’t lose my curls or suffer extreme damage from their bleaching. They have ignored my attempts to get a refund. I’m now spending hundreds of more dollars to fix my hair to get it healthy enough to the point where I can wear it down again. This salon has not replied to any of my messages or phone calls and even blocked me of Facebook for simply writing an honest review. I was never rude to them, but for some reason they think it’s okay to destroy someone’s hair to the point where it snaps off and never once apologize or try to give a refund. I don’t normally do reviews, but in this case I’m not sure what else to do after being ignored repeatedly.

I have gone to this salon three times and have hated the outcome twice. I even had to go back there to have them fix it because I was that unhappy. The highlights that they do here turned my hair play dough yellow once and also turned it an ashy brown and streaky bleach blonde highlights (I asked for a natural blonde highlight with low lights). I would not recommend going here unless you want to be disappointed.

Totally destroyed by daugher’s hair, to the point that it breaks when she brushes. Then they blocked her on FB and removed her negative review. I would not reccomend going to their young, agrogant, inexperienced staff.
