A friend and I went here today to get a full set. We liked that they don’t take walk ins so we have time to go during lunch. I hate to write a review because these people were soooo soo nice and the place was very clean but.. this is the WORST full set I’ve ever got. I get my nails done very frequently and this is by far the worst. I honestly don’t know how this place is in business or how they felt comfortable sending us on our way like this. Asked for ‘coffin’ shape.. I got Idkk a blob?? The nails are very lumpy as well. I’m sure if your didn’t get acrylic this place could do a wonderful job but acrylics is not a strength of theirs.

I booked on line and requested Natalie. The booking confirmation confirmed that my appointment was supposed to be with her. Kevin’s was rough and seemed rushed. He clipped the gel off of my nails with a cuticle clipper , that I had on previously. The finished job is lumpy and bubbly.

Got my nails done here for my birthday, did the research ahead of time, thought this would be the best place. He rushed my acrylics and I only had 2 that weren’t lumpy, he was also harsh with handling my cuticles, tore them up infact. When told he hurt me he told me ‘no no, you’re fine’. So when he asked if I liked them of course I said yes bc I didn’t want him touching me anymore. To top it off the online prices said it would come out around $75 and when I came to the counter he said $90 for a lumpy set of nails. Severely disappointed.

This is the cleanest place I have found in Bloomington. Natalie did a wonderful job on my nails. She was fast but, did not make me feel rushed at all. She did not nick me or cause me to bleed. No pain what so ever. My husband, being diabetic has to have his feet done my a professional. Kevin was very gentle with his feet and did a great job. Another plus to coming here is they do not allow walk ins. Appointment only. I did not have to wait but just a few minutes to being asked to pick out my colors and to have a seat at the table. I like that there was only 4 people in there when we walked in and the 2 clients left shortly after we checked in. We will be back . Thank you for the great service!

I went here for the first time for a spa pedicure and gel manicure. I appreciate that you can book your appointment online, and they follow up with email reminders and instructions. I started going to Nikki Nails during the pandemic after I was fully vaccinated because I wasn’t comfortable going out in public unnecessarily before then. One of the reasons why I chose Nikki Nails was because they operate on an appointment-only basis (I’ve never had to sit and wait to be seen) and they were limiting the number of clients while going above and beyond to follow COVID protocols. I continue coming to Nikki Nails because Kevin and Natalie always do such a wonderful job and are incredibly friendly. The salon is clean and communication about appointments has always been a breeze. They remember me each time I come in (which means a lot to me) and I’ve been happy with every service I receive there. They’ve done it all for me–pedis, manicures, gel, acrylics–I recommend them to everyone!

It took almost 4 hours to get my toes and nails done. While I was there they had 5 people come in and wait and then leave. I think they are good but they need to hire a lot of people for where they are located. He told me he’s only got 2 other people that work there. So they have 3 employees including him. I got my toes done and it was 37$ and then a full set done for 44$ which totals 81$ right? He kept telling me my total was 134$ I asked him why and he said “nails are 44$ and toes are 37$” and then I showed him on his own Calculator that the total was 81$ and then he told me it was tax added. 53$ TAX!!!?!??!?!?? I told him I wasn’t paying 53$ tax. It took 20 mins for him to charge me the exact amount without charging 53$ tax!
