Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI am usually very laid back and simple to please. I am disappointed with my service I received last night. I called ahead for 2 gel manicures and was told the time would be fine. When I arrived there was a pretty long wait. I understand staffing needs and definitely am flexible in that nature. I was happy to wait a while. However, when it was my turn the owner’s husband did my nails and my friend’s nails. He was very rude about how short my nails were and my friend’s nails were. He rushed through so fast. Was irritated he had to remove the gel polish I had currently on. I asked for 1 accent nail and he was aggravated that he chose the wrong number gel polish and tried to get me to like the one he chose. I didn’t and he redid the accent gel polish nail. I was also charged $27 to remove the nail color and apply new gel polish to very short nails. No manicure. He applied 1 drop of lotion to both of my hands and that was it. I will not return. I will also note that 1 nail has already chipped and I had them done 15 hours ago. It saddens me that the quality of services has gotten that low. I used to use this nail salon very frequently in the past and in the past they were very welcoming, inviting, and did a great job. For $25 you can go to Waterscape Nails and get a much much better quality job and friendlier service. Again, I understand staffing constraints, however, I did call ahead and would have appreciated knowing that it would be very rushed.
