I tried out Nieka yesterday. I brought my two daughters for haircuts based on several Facebook recommendations that mentioned her great work and low prices ($10 for kids!). I’m so glad that I did! She is very sweet and was great with my 8 and 3 year olds. She offered recommendations on styles best suited for their different hair types and style requests. Bonus: her salon has a great view of Bangs Lake so waiting is very relaxing.

I see Nieka every 6-9 months for my semi annual haircut. I’m not the kind lady that gets her hair cut once a month, I’m more along the lines of a barbarian caterpillar who changes into a butterfly twice a year. Point being Nieka knows me so during the first of the year haircut I asked for an ombré thing and she told me the upkeep that requires and how my schedule might not be the best for that look. Her honesty led me to put red highlights in my hair and I have NEVER felt sexier. Nieka can size you up and tell you what will work and what won’t. From your standard & routine “just a lil off the bottom” to the “cut it all off” she is a MIRACLE WORKER.
