I’m currently in the process of getting my upper lip done by Nicole. She’s super knowledgeable and explains the process and its effects really well. I previously never considered electrolysis because I’ve seen that it can leave scars, but she explained that the effect on the skin is due to the modality and settings used. I was also nervous about it being painful since the upper lip is a sensitive area, but we did a patch test and it was about the same level of pain as getting my brows threaded, which isn’t bad at all. I had redness and swelling after, but both were completely gone within the next couple of hours!
