This salon may be only two years in this location. The owner has over 40 years of experience and is top-notch. Don’t be fooled by the amount of time they’ve been in this location. I have been following the owner for over 40 years now. Believes it and continuing To be educated with the latest of styling and coloring for herself and other employees. I highly recommend. I came to Nick Matthew’s salon to follow my hairdresser Nikki from her previous salon. Nikki is great at knowing what works best if you arent the best at articulating it. She does exactly what you want but I’m also happy to have a great hair-doer that pushes me to make subtle changes. The staff at this salon is very professional, friendly and attentive. Nick Matthews, is truly a hidden gem! They squeezed my daughter in for a last minute appointment to get full highlights before she returned back to break. The staff was so nice and friendly to me and my daughter making us feel comfortable immediately. The stylist took time to consult with my daughter and made delightful conversation. The owner, Maria, was also a delight to speak with and very accommodating and understanding of my hectic schedule as a working mom. My daughter and I are so excited to come back!

I went in with hair upto my waist and asked for a proper change with face frame and curtain bangs. I told her I like to style my hair every now and then and can maintain it. She gave me a plain look from the back. I asked her to go shorter on my bangs, she said that would be done after the blow out but she never did it. I was so excited to finally get a haircuf after 2 years and came out super disappointed.
