Confused by the high reviews because I didn’t have a good experience here. Walked in to get a powder manicure. When I sat down, the person doing my nails asked me when I moved to Venice and I said I was visiting. He then asked when I was leaving. Maybe because he knew I would not be returning business, he didn’t do a good job at all. He didn’t file or buff down the powder so it ended up as a thick layer with bulk close to my cuticle. He didn’t bring the powder to my cuticle, so when I left it looked like my manicure was already grown out as if it was a week old. He didn’t use cuticle oil, no lotion, he just filed and put powder on and that was it. I have had my manicure for a week now and the powder is chipping off. Maybe I am just used to a different level of service, but my experience was sub par at best.

Critical: QualityIt was my first time at this place; the lady did my eyebrows, i asked if she could at least make them the same shape because the last time i had them done someone messed them up, the old woman here didn’t do anything but take off the baby hairs on the side, didn’t trim them or anything. Then this same woman did my nails and she didn’t start at the bed of the nail, so it looked grown out right away. What is the point of that? There are sides of the nail that she didn’t cover at all. There’s also spots of uneven color applied, some spots opaque some translucent. Basically the worst manicure ever. They also want cash no credit cards. I don’t know why the bad reviews but I always had excellent service and beautiful manicure/pedicure. A regular customer since they just opened the store years ago. As a real estate agent, I have to make sure I look nice all the time and this place does not disappoint.

You know when you go to some nail and everyone is giggling and whispering in Korean and you feel really uncomfortable ? This was my experience today — i asked a few questions , no one answered me but they chattered away in Korean and giggled . When i got out of there , i discovered they had actually missed painting one of my toes!! I normally would have noticed that but i was so uncomfortable i just couldn’t wait to leave. What a total waste of $45 plus tip and obviously pedicures are supposed to be relaxing . Really the rudest nail salon i have ever been to. As a first timer i should have been treated nicer .
