I got my hair done in goddess braids mid back length and paid $450. my hair was tangled and matted 3 days later. They used the cheapest and worst quality hair possible. I called them within 5 days. They promised that they would redo the braids. They did not follow through on they promise. I was stuck with matted braids and out of $450. If I could I would have given a one star.

Yesterday, I walked into the shop and everyone was so kind, welcoming and inviting. I made an appointment for my daughter for today at 3:00 with the beautiful lady with short blonde curls. Demi and Stephanie took great care of my child today. Demi washed her hair and conditioned it before she & Stephanie braided it. My daughter was tired and kept falling asleep, so Stephanie gave my daughter her phone to watch Netflix while they braided her hair. They never acted like she was a problem even though I was so embarrassed that she kept falling asleep.The atmosphere was very professional and her hair is beautiful. Nia Soule Salon you have gained 2 more clients. Thanks for your hospitality & great service. We will definitely be back soon.

This place is within walking distance, so I thought I’d try them. My experience: Walked in on a Tuesday, spoke to a woman about getting crochet braids. Showed her what type of hair I’d be using and discussed price. She could not find her glasses, so told me to call a certain number to make an appointment, even though I was in the salon at the time. So, I left the salon and called the number she gave me. Spoke to someone else, explained the service I needed and time I wanted to come in. She said okay, and to send her a text message confirming the appointment time and send a picture of the hair I was going to use. So, I sent her a text confirming the appointment time we’d agreed on and a picture of the hair I would be using. She texted back “Perfect”. I showed up a few days later at the time we’d agreed upon, and there were 4 stylist in the salon, working on clients. They knew nothing about the appointment I’d scheduled and a stylist called someone on the phone, I guess to see if I’d made an appointment, (I showed her the text confirming my appointment). Unfortunately, Saturday will be the last time I visit this company. Very disappointing! It is a convenient location but not worth the money anymore. My knotless braids were not parted evenly especially in the front even though I asked, fly aways were not cleaned up, add on hair was not blended in properly and the stylist was slooooow. Nice lady but slow. Was supposed to take 2 1/2 hrs but took 5 hrs. I found another stylist that shouldn’t be too far from me. Her work is perfect. Will be going to her from here on out.

I only gave this place four stars as they did not start at my appointment time. Just had my daughter’s hair done (box braids) for the second time at this salon. Mia started right on time and was finished in 3 1/2 hours (including a wash & condition). Everyone was very friendly. The shop was clean & comfortable for waiting. My daughter (5) said it didn’t hurt at all. We love her braids! Nikki did her hair the first time we went and also did a beautiful job. We’ll definitely be back!
