The braids look nice…. However, she was rough when washing my hair. And the braids in the front of my head is WAY TOOOO TIGHT!!!! To the point when my skin is being pulled.. if you go tell them not to braid your edges!! Because if not, you won’t have any.. Box Braids

Made appointment for a Sunday at 10.00. Another client walk in before me, and the owner was unable to find another person to braid my hair. Owner kept saying 10 minutes after an hour of waiting I decided to leave. Owner said she could do my hair later that day or come back Later in week. I informed her I will come back on Monday (next day) at 9.00am. Owner gave me apt time of 8.30. Owner never arrive until 9.30am and stated we set appt for Friday. Owner work steadily on hair. But it was way after 3pm before she finish. Disappointed by scheduling however hair was beautiful. Don’t know if I will be returning.

Very disappointed. First of all, the associates arrived over an hour later than the time posted on the door. ..Asked for fluffy twist. My hair, after being serviced, was nothing like the picture. No refund or repair was offered. I informed the associate working on my head, Yasmine, that I was not satisfied. Her co-worker started speaking very angrily at me for asking for my hair to be fixed or to be made to look like what I paid for. Her co-worker was yelling “No, don’t touch her hair.” Mind you, they’ve received my money. I will never go there again!!! My hair started to show through the twist the next day, leaving me no choice but to take the twist out!!! A waste of $180. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Very unprofessional braiders and never arrive on time. Called the day before to see if I could come in Saturday morning to get the perimeter of box braids touched up and was told to be there at 9. They didn’t get there until almost 10 and after waiting an hour was told that touch ups can’t be done on Saturday mornings and she would call me back once someone could do it. Needless to say I was PISSED because she was the SAME ONE that told me to come in the first place so I left. I called her back and requested to speak with the manager. She told me that was not necessary and he was not available. I should have trusted my gut and not went back but I did and had a braid literally ripped out of my head due to the braider braiding my baby hair so tightly. I will NEVER step foot in this establishment even if it was the last braiding place on the planet. People will treat you how you allow them to. Be smart and spend your money elsewhere.

If I could give them less than one start I would. I came In this morning for my 11am appointment and the lady wasn’t there. Then when she did get there she had an attitude and told me I had to pay before she started. BS. I left immediately.

Don’t go here!!! Waste of $170 save your time and money. My braids lasted a week before they started to frizz and start sliding. Braiders are not professional at all! She stopped about a hour in to go get food and came back and took about 25 minutes to eat which was a hour wasted. When I arrived I had to wait about 45 minutes because she was “at verizon and there was a line”. This was the worst braiding expierence I ever had!!

They don’t deserve this star. Arrived there to get 2 goddess braids at 9 00 am on 9/6/16. No one arrived until 10 am. I called about 2 minutes after my arrival due to them not being open…mind you the time on the door reads hours of operation are from 9am to 5pm Monday-Saturday and by appt on Sundays. No one answered so I left a message. Then I get a phone call from someone who works there asking me what I was getting and telling me they are on the way..now this is about 9 15 to9 20 when we get off the phone…still no one shows up til ten…when the first lady shows up she tells me that she was unable to get in contact with the person that does the style I wanted….could you have called me and told me that before I sat until 10 waiting on them..? She then proceeds to take my number and tell me she will call me when she comes in…I’m speaking with the person who took my number, asking if there will be a price adjustment due to the poor customer service and unprofessionalism being exhibited…she days she can’t make that decision due to “Neye” being in Africa. I daid I need to speak to someone who can make those decisions…she stayed she would see what she can do. At this point I leave, go home…and I get a call about 12 16pm from the young lady who does them (now she at the shop) and asks me do I want to come back, I say yes. I arrive there and no one is there but her and I, when I arrive. She is on her cell phone for about 5 to 7 minutes longer, like a customer hasn’t just walked through the door…I proceed to explain my morning to her..in regards to a price adjustment due to lack of professionalism displayed and she quotes to me the same price…I say ok…she just totally disregarded the negative customer service I explained to her, letting me know it would still be full price…ok..I roll with it…anybody who goes to the African hair braiding galleries know you have to pay first before services are rendered…..I pay…sit down in the chair and you would not believe what happens next…this chick hets on facebook, like I can’t see the reflection in the mirror for about another 5 minutes while I’m sitting there…by this time I am upset but still displaying the demeanor of a virtuous woman all at the same time. I stand up and proceed to tell her that I just want my money back due to what transpired previously that morning, only to still jave to wait.!!! She had not begun styling my hair, it had only been parted…she began to get very angry…got very loud and would not allow me to get a word in…I’m constantly asking her why is she yelling while I am not…she continues to be indignant and then proceeds to take my money out of her purse and throw it on the counter…literally threw it…saying that they have many more clients that will come in after me so it doesn’t matter…oh really…oh…ok…so moral of all of this is to say that people will treat you only the way that you teach and allow them to treat you. I know we love our braids and getting them done, but I’m not willing to just pau for any and everything. The rapport and positive experience of any communication begins with the initial point of contact. Don’t just settle for anything…If you stand for nothing then you will fall for anything. They will not be getting ANYMORE OF MY BUSINESS.
