My husband and I decided to try somewhere new for my birthday. Everyone was wearing their mask and it was really clean. They had the barriers up for COVID at the pedicure stations. I showed Kim a picture and told her what I wanted different and she did a great job. My husband got a manicure and really enjoyed it.

Critical: QualityWe paid over $140 for 2 manicures and a dip set. The two manicures are super sloppy, uneven and not worth $30 apiece. My cuticles and the skin around the fingers is dry and flaky just a few days after my manicure. My nails are lumpy, uneven, the color looks scuffed and halfway done, and honestly I can’t stand them. Also kind of shady they made me use the ATM and pay cash only, even though I saw someone else get a card reader. I wanted to love this place especially since we live so close but all 3 of us are extremely unsatisfied with our nails. We paid over $140 for 2 manicures and a dip set. Went to NY Nails because my usual spot was fully booked…but this may become my regular spot! Everyone was very friendly and there were a lot of people working to accommodate all of the customers. Just beware that they only accept cash tips, so come ready with cash!

I was a walk in during a week day and barely had to wait at all which isn’t typical for nail salons in the area. I interacted with 3 employees and several guests and everyone was so calm and nice. The environment of this little place is great and comfortable and I walked out with one of the best manicures I ever have at ANY salon in the country. Since I had been especially rough on my nails before this visit, the white tips were almost worn right off and the gel was getting weak and starting to chip so the first person that got me set up and pulled my ragged old nails off suggested that I do the full white fake tips instead. I know it seems small, but most nail salons barely understand what I want, let alone suggest an upgrade that would solve a problem before I even voiced it. Points for customer service! After he expertly removed my nails, he offered me a drink and clarified what exactly I wanted done and the pricing. More points for not surprising me when I get the bill like so many salons do. Then a lovely lady took over and she was so detailed! I love my nails VERY short, but need them professional and STRONG and she totally delivered. It’s very hard to do SHORT gel nails well but she did it and didn’t even gouge me under the nails. I was so impressed! Truly one of the BEST nail experiences I have ever had in the country! Also, there’s plenty of parking in the little strip mall and it’s wheelchair accessible with a bit of maneuvering.

My nails look great, but i did not leave with the nails i walked in to get. My nail tec told me some off the wall prices. So i ended up getting reg acrylic, gel polish and coffin shape, and i paid $70! A full set on there price poster is $40! The vibe in the shop seemed off also. Im not sure i will get my nails done there again…

Just moved to the area was hoping to find a new salon closer than my current salon, so tried this salon however I’m severely disappointed. I went in for a dip set my dip manicure was rushed and overall the outcome wasn’t presentable at all. My nails have lumps and one nail has a spot where the dip missed my nail completely. Then after that if the nails themself isn’t bad enough all my finger tips were white and dry, anytime I’ve gotten my nails done even after having to soak off old sets I’ve never had that issue. I did also get a pedicure which was nice for the most part, but my dip set yeah no wouldn’t recommend.
