I’m torn giving this review. While Jen does a great job with my hair, it is like a factory, meaning you wait a very long time because they book so many people at the same time (the owner booked this appt not the stylist). I was there 3 hours for a cut and partial highlight (I have very short hair)and charged $122. The prices are not commensurate with Kutztown area that’s for sure. So because Jen does a great job I gave a three but took off for the long wait, pricing, and fact that they obviously care more about the money than the client.

I went to New Vision for a color touch up and layering. Though the color itself and tinsel were okay (the solution made my hair dry, but it still colored my hair), I am less than happy with my hair cut. Upon the beginning of my appointment, I explained I did not want any length off of my hair, and to just do thinning at the top, layers throughout with texture, and my bangs/frame. I left with a good portion of my hair cut off and disappointed. It was when I looked in the mirror at home that I started crying, as I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for a while and this appointment was not cheap. This was for my birthday and all i wanted was to maintain what I had already had going. I don’t understand how this happened, I ask for the same exact thing at Image salon and never had issues. I have provided before and after pictures of my hair. (first picture was taken April 24th, I had not gotten my haircut since January, so it may actually have been longer than what is in the picture). The second picture is from today, one day after my appointment.As you can see, my hair used to pass my chest and now it barely touches it.
