I’ve been going to New Sun Nails for the past few months and they always do a great job. I usually get a dip set but last night I went for an acrylic gel set and it came out better than I had expected. I had Jade and she is so sweet and did a great job. It’s definitely not cheap ($75 for the set not including tip) but they do a good job.

This place is wonderful. This was my first time here. They are very hygienic and have so many services to offer. I got a Vitamin Pedi with gel polish. The stone massage was relaxing, the products were soothing and smelled amazing, and the technician, Ria, was very professional and took great care of my poor feet. I will be back, for sure. Thanks, New Sun!

So I’ve given them an honest shot. I got a dip manicure that three of the nails chipped in a week. This was the second one that chipped within a week. So I went back to get it redone and said nothing, and the manicurist cut two of cuticles so badly that they bled the entire time. He proceeded to continue to dip my bloody cuticle into the powder and brush the other gel over it. At one point he used clear nail polish to try to stop the bleeding on one of them. After that dried, at the end of the manicure he peeled the nail polish off of the cut, which felt great as you can imagine. At the end I was left with stains on my fingertips and a bunch of Gunk still under my nails. And they were still going to charge me the full amount. And to make it worse he never even said sorry for cutting me so badly

Came here once and the service was okay came a second time for a gel pedicure and the owner was extremely rude. I asked about the gel pedicure process because they did not immediately soak my feet in the water when I sat there ( this is very abnormal to me) and wasn’t sure if this was a new process for pedicures. Someone explained they do it backwards for gel and I say okay and continued. About 10minutes later the owner came out INTERRUPTING the service to question me about my concern. I explained like previously it was my first experience of waiting after to soak feet. She got rude when she thought it was cute to say “ I DONT CARE ABOUT OTHER SALONS, THIS IS WHAT WE DO.” I immediately let her know she was being rude and that I wasn’t even making a big deal about it simply asking questions but since she made that comment I would no longer be needing there service. This place is literally next to a tire shop not a luxury salon at all for the trouble I was given. I’d rather spend money elsewhere even if Cost more.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had never been to a nail salon before because I’m a nail biter. I finally gave in to my girlfriends request and went. The place to so clean and welcoming. I had Jay do my manicure and I am very happy with how it turned out. He did such a good job that It made me not want to bite my nails for all of 6 days.

Critical: QualityI debated posting a review because I have used this place many times and have had great experiences. However, the last time I went for a gel manicure will be my last. Gracie did my manicure and I have had her once before for a pedicure and she was not polite then and was very pushy so when I realized she was doing my gel manicure this time I was nervous but hoping for a good experience. First, she only let my prior gel soak off for a few minutes, did not use the heated towel to help like that other nail techs usually use (I assume they use it to help the process along but I don’t know). When she checked my nails to see if they were done soaking of the gel, the gel had not fully soaked off because it had only been a few minutes so she began using the grinder to grind the remaining gel off to the point it was starting to burn my finger nail and I pulled my hand back. She continued to use the power file despite me stating it was burning. I didn’t want to be rude so I let her finish. She even said a couple times to me “relax” as she pushed my arms down because of how tense I was because I ultimately wanted to leave at that point because my finger nails were hurting. It’s been a week since my gel manicure and some my nails are breaking up to my nail bed, they are so thin and brittle and it’s actually painful. Very disappointed, because the other nail techs are very good and do a nice job but I won’t be returning because I don’t want to accidentally have her as my manicurist again.Services: Pedicure, Gel manicuresI debated posting a review because I have used this place many times and have had great experiences.
