This used to be my go to salon when I was living in east lansing, michigan. I always made appointments with Fadia. She always patiently listened to my preferences. I have type 3B long curls. Visiting the salon was always a scary experience for me before. If I come back to the city again, will definitely visit this place!

This was my first time at New Style Salon and I’m very picky about my hair. Vicki did a FANTASTIC job. She cut it EXACTLY how I wanted it and that’s very rarely happened. I walked out of there so happy and relieved that we picked this place, and that we were lucky enough to have Vicky cut and style for us. She’s absolutely amazing. We showed her reference pictures for what we wanted to get and she did a fabulous job. Also, she gave us the student discount, which makes the entire experience at New Style Salon exemplary. Very warm, friendly people. We met David, and his energy immediately put us to shame. I will definitely be returning here in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly, and extremely talented hairdresser.

A wonderful atmosphere to get your haircut in! Everyone is so friendly, I’ve been going here since I was a child. I highly recommend David and Melissa, or any of their other many wonderful stylists to anyone! Never had a problem getting scheduled when I needed it.

Ive been going here for years and always get a great cut or color no matter what I want to do to my hair. Melissa is the best at anything you want from a simple trim to a full out updo or crazy color. She is your go to gal and really listens to what you want and will give good advice on what will work for you. David, the owner, is great and makes the salon a friendly environment. Highly recommend New Style to anyone.

Wonderful, talented stylists that really care about their clients and are experts in their field. Very much a “family friendly” atmosphere. Clean, comfortable, modern salon with a nice variety of skin and hair care products for sale. Free, convenient parking and walk-ins are welcome. I love going here!

Friendly salon- super reasonable prices. Melissa is a hair wizard… love every cut she has given me!! David the owner is great. Perfect salon for the whole family. They have the possibility of a curtained off section if you prefer privacy while getting your cut/wash. There’s also a barber here. Jason is great cutting my boys hair if you choose the barber.
