I recently moved to the area and was desperate to find my new local nail salon. Well I definitely did with New City Nails! I have gone to them twice now for powder dip and a regular pedicure, all of the aestheticians that worked on my nails were thorough and talented. My powder dip lasted without issue, and my regular polish pedicure only chipped after *3 weeks* which is astounding. Yesterday I picked a cute nail art from their gallery/Google updates, and they replicated it perfectly. I am always able to get an appointment one day in advance (I’ve only gone on weekdays though so can’t speak for the weekend crowd). It’s next to my favorite local grocery too, so I can conveniently get my Mother Earth’s storehouse goods while I’m in the strip. 5/5 definitely recommend!

So nice! My friend and I went here to give it a try and we were very happy with our experience. We got a mani pedi done. Queenie did my nails and she was very friendly and nice and did a great job. M… did my pedicure, it was very relaxing. Everything seems very very clean there. Liners and new packaging for all pedicure equipment. I will definitely be returning here. Well worth the price. Honestly this is definitely the best nail salon in Kingston. It was definitely pricey but I got such an amazing service that I didn’t mind how much I spent. Peter did so amazing I can’t wait to go back to get a fill!! He did exactly what I wanted so beautifully I have never been happier about my nails. The salon was so clean and everyone was so nice I love it here ♥️. 1000000/10 highlyyyyyy recommend!!!!

They have the patience of a saint in there! I forgot to grab the name of the gentleman who did my nails, but I felt like the customer from hell and he handled me so well. I picked a design that towards the end of him trying to do it, I realized it was way too complicated for the size nail I wanted and I picked a color that made it hard for the design to show, but he was determined to make my expectations work. I asked him to scrap it and just do a plan nail and he had no problems doing that for me. I left a good tip bc I felt horrible changing what I wanted very last minute. I really love the nails I left with and will absolutely be going there again. Very clean and friendly, with a lot of color variety and services as well.

I’ve been going here since they opened under the new owners. At first it was wonderful, nails would last over a month with no chips. Now, it’s awful. Can’t make appointments with the 3 best people who work there or they only will take appointments a random few days a week, but will do walk ins if it gets busy. By the time 2 weeks rolls around multiple nails are chipped. On day 2 the top coat started to flake off. Now 9 days in two are chipped completely and the top coat is half off exposing the anc powder. Going in to have the top coat buffed and redone days after getting them done gets old fast.

Very nice and friendly atmosphere. Everyone smiled. I really liked that. The service was professional and timely. My technicians were kind and courteous. My husband had his first mani pedi and was thrilled. Also the salon was clean and bright and you could barely smell the chemical products. I have asthma and I was just fine. Very good experience, we highly recommend trying them out

My first visit was great. But my gel manicure peeled twice within days. Fine. They were kind and professional about fixing them. Then came my next full visit… as awful as the first one was good. Awful technician who was rude and careless. My nails were a total mess and she was put off when I asked for them to be finished properly. I paid extra for pedicure supplements that she forgot to do until reminded then did begrudgingly.

Always enjoyed coming here, but it seems an hour before close they refuse to take customers. Called 2 times during the day, no answer. Then when I go in at 5:50 (they close at 7), the guy says okay, then the girl starts speaking to him and says how it’s too late like I couldn’t hear her. Therefore, I will not be returning. Went elsewhere, and it’s $10 cheaper. Congrats on losing a loyal customer.
