Today was quite emotional losing my baby boy and gaining a big boy! But he deserves his new haircut he was so excited for! He did such an amazing job for his first haircut! He was so comfortable with absolutely new people! Found an amazing autism certified barbershop with amazing dedicated barbers even finishing up their BCBA and with their own autistic children! Drove an hr from Holyoke Mass but totally was worth the drive and would 200% recommend New Style Hair Studio to my autism parents and children! We gained a barber for life! Thank you Eddie!

My 4 year old son had his first ever hair cut today and Eddie did absolutely amazing. My son has Autism and we have been holding off on the hair cut for a while now debating on whether to keep it long due to his sensory issues. We felt very comfortable at New Style Hair Studio simply becuase of how friendly the owner was but also we knew we were welcome regardless of my son being on the spectrum. We will definitely be back when it’s time for another cut. Highly recommended to anyone with kids on the Autism Spectrum. Hair cuts can be very difficult when you don’t know how your little one will take it so thanks for making this a memorable and positive experience for us. I Can’t believe I have a little man under all that baby hair!

I am so happy I came across this barbershop. My son is 6 with HF autism and only had at home haircuts. I bought so much back up in case he had a meltdown. It wasn’t needed at all! As soon as we sat at Eddie’s chair my son was instantly calm and felt his energy. Eddie was patient, friendly and did an amazing job. I said bye to baby Jax and hello to big boy Jaxson after his fresh cut. He won’t stop talking about his new barber and how we have to go back when his hair grows. I appreciate the work and drive the owner has to help other barbers in understanding how to cut the hair of children with special needs and how it effects our community. Definitely grateful and definitely going back

My son is autistic and in the past has not tolerated having his hair cut. There’s been screaming, tears, trying to run away, etc. Eddie was AMAZING with him, he got to know him, showed him what he’d be using, and my son didn’t shed a single tear! Highly recommend this place! My 18 month old has autism and sensory issues and haircuts are usually nightmares but Eddie made this experience the easiest and quickest for him. Super professional and understanding. Will definitely be coming back in the future for haircuts.
