I’ve been going to this salon since before the new owners got there. For over a decade. And they never disappoint. They can’t do the extremely fancy Instagram nail art but their simple nail designs are always on point and so beautiful. This visit was for my Halloween wedding this year and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I plan to continue to come to this salon for many years to come.

I came in on Monday at 4:40 to get a dip gel manicure and a polish change on my toes. Not only did it take the work 2 hours and she didn’t even file the edges down properly and left layers of gel powder caked under my nails BUT today (Wednesday) two of my nails have already broken and my toe polish is all rippled with air bubbles. I came in to get my nails fixed and I was told 30 minutes after they messed up my nails and my toes. Extremely unprofessional and rude and I will NEVER be returning or telling anyone to come here. Just awful experience. Do not go to this place ! I would love to give them zero stars but in order to review I have to give him at least one . I called before I went and the guy told me to come by and I came there in less than 10 minutes later only for him to tell me he couldn’t do a gel polish change. He tried to say they have to take off all my nails and tried to overcharge and upsell me and then told me I could not get the acrylic that I wanted because the technician had left because I didn’t come fast enough and I came in less than 10 minutes.

I had my nails done yesterday for the first time at New Romantic and I will definitely be going back. My nails were trashed from my previous job and I got a full set of tips and acrylic with gel color. Kim Lee (spelling?) was so skilled and efficient. The prices are the best I’ve seen as well. I live close by and I’m so happy a friend of mine told me about New Romantic.
