This is the worst salon. I stopped coming here a while ago because they were rude when they gave me a coupon card and I had to come 6 times before I could get a free service and I came 6 times and they said I couldn’t. I came back because my original salon is an hour away and they are convenient. Today I asked them can they do a hair style which was fairly simple. It was half up half down with a curls and they are saying it can’t be done because my hair is too short. I’m like nah it can be done. I have shoulder length hair. Or a little above shoulder length. But they are saying I have to make an appointment when I just wanted my natural hair done in this style. And when they were telling me no they can’t do it . It was in a very rude tone. I tried to give this place a chance again but never again.

They did a blowout on my daughters hair. I loved it. Phone Communication could be a Lil better other than that I’m pleased with the service.

If you have type 4 hair, don’t go here. I have 4b hair and I was told my hair was “too curly/too natural” as the lady used the wrong combs and brushes to detangle my hair, used the wrong detangling technique, and she just ripped an unnecessary amount of my hair out. Also, way too much heat was applied to my hair, I was at risk of heat damage. I sat under the dryer for over an hour, and that was before the blow dryer and flat iron. My hair smelt like it was burning. The result looked good but it wasn’t worth the pain, insult, and mistreatment of my hair.

I called ahead of time to inquire about getting a relaxer and set an appointment and the cost. I get there and the lady starts washing my hair, I immediately told her I wanted a relaxer and she just apologized nonchalantly. So I told her it’s fine I’ll just wash my hair instead today. She used a fine tooth comb on my 4c hair, I lost a lot of hair. She charged me $15 more than what I was quoted for a relaxer. I’ve called and no one answers or calls me back. I’ve been to many Dominican salons growing up in Jersey but this has to be the worst experience.

I have been taking my boys here for the past several months for haircuts and been very satisfied with the service. The place is very clean, prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and professional and they have never been more than 15 minutes off in getting the boys in the chair. We have always scheduled our appointments…never been a walk-in.

I walked in just to get my ends clipped and the stylist was very polite. She got me right in with no wait and gave me exactly what I was looking for. She did not cut too much hair off either! There was no wait, they were professional, the salon was extremely clean and I would definitely come here again.
