Critical: Professionalism, QualityAll the previous reviews mentioned how great their experience was with Huma, but please note, Huma does not work here anymore! This establishment has undergone a change in management and all employees that worked here when I first started my laser hair removal have been let go. Normally, I would not care that the employees have changed if the services provided to me are consistent, but they are not.1. My BIGGEST concern is that the package that was sold to me by the former employees is not being accepted by this newmanagement/employee. I purchased 7 or 8 full body treatments for $600 AND they offered for me to come back and do touchups should I need them for $45 for full body (this does not mean going over my entire body, but just to address some small patches of my body that need attention). The new management refuses to accept this deal because the old employees did not capture this deal in their internal records and because the new management thinks that the deal is too good to offer to anyone. If I cannot trust the employees that are working the front desk, who can I trust? Understandably, if the deal that was made with was not captured in the system, there is nothing the company MUST do to adhere to the deal made to me. But instead of meeting me halfway or offer a sensible alternative, they told me that the touchups will cost me $550 (that’s not a typo). I asked to speak to the manager directly so that I can negotiate with someone with actual authority and they refused. It was my fault for not getting this written in paper and signed.2. Another big concern is the new technician, April. She completed my FULL BODY laser hair treatment in 45 minutes. For those that have had laser before should know that this is TOO fast to complete a full body session. Did I mention that I am 5’9 and of normal stature? These sessions should be between 1.5 to 2 hours. When I asked April to slow down so that I can have an effective treatment, she told me that she has been doing this for a while and the pace she is going at is acceptable.Tips:Do your research before coming here and spending your hard-earned money. There are plenty of other med-spas that offer the same services that are more reputable than this place.Get everything signed and documented for your records. You cannot trust these people to hold on to their end of the bargain. Do not accept a receipt as a contractual obligation, it is not enough.Ask about your technician’s experience level and ask to see their certificate. If I am not mistaken, every person that touches your body with the laser hair removal machine must be certified, do not let them treat you unless you see their certifications. This is purely speculation, but I think that is why the old employees were let go, they were not certified (except for Huma who never actually did any of my treatments). All the previous reviews mentioned how great their experience was with Huma, but please note, Huma does not work here anymore! …More
