New to the area so I drive over for a mani/pedi. The place looks closed. Sign on the door said by appointment only, so I called. Message says no new clients, no appointments available for the rest of the year and dont leave a message asking. It would have been nice if the website is updated with this information, it would save a lot of people time by knowing not to bother with this place.

New Beginnings in the ONLY nail salon I will patron in the Lake Area. The staff is friendly, professional, ALL individually licensed, and the facility is clean, modern, and comfortable. All the ladies speak fluent English, are meticulous in their duties, and never fail to provide top quality services. I look forward to my appointments and enjoy the results for weeks! I would recommend New Beginnings over any nail salon because of everything listed above…and the owner? She’s a classy, smart, and professional woman who works hard daily to make sure every customer who comes through the door feels welcome, like a visit with your best girlfriend. After all, being pampered is part of her business & it shows.

This shop has a professional, clean, friendly, welcoming vibe. The technicians are knowledgeable and have the customer interest at heart. I have been with 3 of the four technicians and found them all to be wonderful. When I had a problem with my nails, (not their fault) they worked together to fixe my issue. They make time for me when I call, I love this salon.

I have tried many times to be a patron but they are always booked. I only come to this area 3-4 times per year and have never been successful in obtaining an appt although I try each time. Today when I called I was told they are booked through the end of February. I’m only in town for a few weeks so that obviously wont work. I give up.

I went here this week and got a full set with SNS. The only thing I liked about this place was the color I chose. The owner honestly had no idea what she was doing. Within a day and a half I had all but three nails fall off. Now I’ve been doing this for at least 10 years. Always have had shorter nails and she claims that they fell off Bc I have short nails. No this has never happened before. I even went home after getting them done and had to literally file them Bc they were so uneven and some even had different shapes than the other ones. I honestly think the thing that bothered me the most was when she was talking about her employees personally life. That is so extremely unprofessional and especially for an OWNER! I got my money back and went down the street to the other nail salon. Definitely went home happy after going to the other one and look all my nails are still perfectly fine and way better this time. Would not recommend going to new beginnings nail salon!

Oh please tell me by the ignorant woman who answered the phone and the lack of professionalism exhibited that this place is on its way out. Why would anyone ever grace this place when they could visit Le Nails, for instance? Or any other salon for that matter? Business owners who don’t know how to make money and are not creative enough to find a way and “don’t care to do that” deserve to be shut down. Don’t forget the people you are serving.

Had the opportunity to take my granddaughters for their first pedicure and they had the best time! Jenni also did my daughter’s pedi and all were so pleased. Stefani did my mani and pedicure and it was perfect as always.
