Maureen has truly been a lifesaver for me. I lost my hair a few years ago and I had no idea how to wear or take care of wigs. Goodness, where do I even begin. Maureen is truly AMAZING. My sister is currently going through chemo and has lost all her hair. Last minute she decided she wanted to wig shop. I thought O.M.G where am I going to find a place last minute and on a holiday weekend. I called New Beginnings and Maureen answered! Instantly felt the love! She let us come by after her last client. She was so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. She was patient, kind and oozed love. My sister found two wigs that looked beautiful on her. Once you go to Maureen at new beginnings you won’t go any where else…I found her on Google but anyways my stepfather needed a new hair system or hair piece because his was old and out dated and wasn’t comfortable anymore. So I called Maureen and made a appointment and brought my stepfather in and she did what God blessed her to do. And my stepfather was so happy with everything she did that we were all in tears I can’t put in to words on the amazing job she did and the way my stepfather felt as we were leaving. He said he felt and looked like a New man. Maureen will have us as customer’s for life .will not go anywhere else.

I went to New Beginnings with a friend who was losing her hair due to medication and hereditary hair loss. My friend didn’t have very high hopes, she just wanted to hide her hair loss. We met with Maureen, who may be the kindest person ever. She was warm and caring from the moment we walked through the door. She knows her trade very well, is loving and compassionate and very calming to work with. She put my friend, who was quite anxious, at ease immediately. When we left New Beginnings, my friend not only had a new wig, but she looked and felt beautiful and confident again. Maureen is incredibly skilled and talented in finding the best “hair accompaniment solutions”all with outstanding listening skills. She understands that people have a lot of feelings about hair loss. In my case, a rather large surgical site on my scalp from moh’s surgery for a basal cell was making me feel rather despairing. She understands that to look and feel like ourselves that we have options and choices. Maureen made me feel understood and boosted my self-esteem.
