This is a new place run by a couple young guys fresh from barber school. I got the most thorough haircut I’ve ever had. It turned out great. They are in the basement of the Landmark Center. I used the door on Broad St, but I think the Main St door works, too. It took me a few minutes to find it, but glad I did. I definitely recommend.

Took my son there twice and he liked the atmosphere. First cut was fine second he didn’t like as much but was afraid to complain, being 13 he didn’t want to do that so he was trimming it himself at home. But that’s not the reason for my review. My problem is their outrageous cancellation policy. They require that you pay the full amount of the appointment missed! I’m sorry but I will not pay $20 for a missed appointment. I tried explaining what happened but I guess you can’t be human anymore. Then he said that they don’t take walkins and that they had missed that sale. When I was the I’ve seen him take a walk-in and it was actually my sons friend. I understand paying a small fee after the second missed appointment but a full amount was ridiculous. I was going to give him a bigger tip for the inconvenience and think that would’ve been fair. They are not the only barber/haircut place in town.

10/10! Highly recommend checking these guys out! Was in town for other reasons and needed a haircut bad. Found Never Boxed In on google maps and decided to give it a shot. I had no idea that they went by appointment only but Joel was gracious enough to fit me in for a cut! The place was super clean, staff was very professional, and Joel did an amazing job! I’ve never had a barber actually try to get to know me before and he had some great recommendations on how to cut/style my hair. I’m an hour away but I would not hesitate to make this the only place to get my hair cut!
