This review is specifically for Evelyn. If you want to get damaged hair, feel free to go with her. I had originally went there for a touch up. This “touch up” took roughly about 7 hours. Not only did she damage my hair but the color was just horrible (the pictures do not lie). This experience with Evelyn was so unprofessional that she had the nerve to leave and buy more dye and borrow hair dye from her peers. I’m not the type to leave any bad reviews, I get it we all have bad days but this was beyond unprofessional. She still wanted to charge me $240. Definitely did not pay her that.

I had gone to Nelly’s salon a few times lately and everything had been nothing but awesome until yesterday. I was told by one of the stylists that it was under a new management and that Nelly was no longer there. Right of the bat I noticed a new face, a guy’s face, which I thought was a new employee. This guy seemed to be lost and kind of not knowing what he was doing, as far as running the business is. When he was done doing another guy’s beard I noticed he overcharged him, so I thought it was maybe a rookie’s mistake, but then I caught him with the corner of my eye signaling my stylist to charge me $15 instead of $12 when I was about to pay. That’s when I knew he was the new management. What a shady guy!! I noticed other stylists with their disbelief looks for the way he was acting and charging.

Stay away from this place! I walk into this place and i had to wait 15 minutes and there wasnt any other customers. I ask for a short haircut. But the woman helping me is so distracted. Constantly stopping and moving my chair so she can join in on the gossip. She doesnt offer me a mirror so i didnt get to see the back of my head. My mistake for not asking.. When i get home i notice she left several really long strands. So i had to go in with my own scissors and cut my hair. I really dont recommend this place.

My son and his dad walked in to get my son’s hair cut a couple of hours ago. Unfortunately, my son chose the owner Nelly to cut his hair. She was cutting a gentleman’s hair and 1 other waiting and she said she would cut my son’s after those 2. They waited and as soon as she was ready to finish and start on my son; a female customer walked in and Nelly said it was her appointment. She directed herself to my son and told him “You have to wait she is my appointment. Go with someone else!” My 8 year old son got upset because he had been waiting for Nelly and now she treated him lime he wasn’t important! His dad had another female cut his hair after waiting over and hour. I understand that she had an appointment but she could’ve said something before they had waited all that time for her. She was rude and mean. There is no need for that especially towards an 8 year old boy! We will never go here again, and to Nelly learn customer service and learn to run a business. Treating customers that way will not get you far!!

It’s very unfortunate to say that the owner Nelly was extremely rude and showed no care for her customers. She showed no sign of valuing customer confidentiality and was only interested in my money and my experience with her and her salon was unpleasant as she asked that I pay before leaving without knowing from her staff I already had paid. As the owner her unprofessionalism shocked me. She did not care for my opinion and spoke over me as if I was a child though I kept telling her i was just asking to make sure of things. Would not recommend.

Worst haircut ever! I’ve been 2 times here and the first time the hair cut was ok, this last time I went in and the lady that did my hair either doesn’t have a clue of what was she doing or she was so distracted on the chisme that seriously left a mess on my hair… I have never had a haircut this bad before, it was so uneven in the back! I had to grab my hair cut machine and fix it myself as it was so freaking bad that I didn’t even wanted to bother in coming back and make her fix it… I usually don’t leave negative reviews but this time it really bothered me a lot that I decided I had to leave this review about the crappiest haircut I have ever had… the lady seemed to be the owner btw, she was nice though but her job was awful for something so simple…

My hair was virgin hair and I asked for blonde and it came out orange in some parts and actual blonde in others. She did not take the time to do my hair the right way and now I have to live with my orange hair for at least 6 months! And when I went back to see if they could fix it i heard from the owner she did this to three other people.
