I want to speak on the salon as a whole… very clean, professional and Covid safe. Sanitizer when you enter the salon and temperature checks. Staff continuously wiped down stations, salon chairs, knobs and styling products. All the stylists were very professional and amazing at their craft.

Coming through the door I was greeted by a masked gentleman very polite which I found out was Paul himself!!!! Other stylist greeted me as well as the cutest mascot “Bella”. But my GOSH Jeffrey hair washing was the best ever. If only I can take the hands home. Johnathan my stylist worked effectively efficiently and has light hands. Overall my service was amazing. Happy I found a place to call home for my loc journey. BTW my appointment was at 1pm. I was getting washed by 1:06pm. Never has this happened in Baltimore at a salon! Great job Natural Textures u have a client in me❤️ Clean and professional shop as well.

I would recommend this place to anyone. It was my first time getting dreads and I searched Google four place and this place came up. I’m glad I went there it was a very cold day and the warm and welcoming treatment I received that day was very much needed. I see why they get such high reviews but take it from me but then again don’t take it for me go see it for yourself I promise you you will not be disappointed. This place is above and beyond your average salon. The place was clean the staff was inviting very warm and welcoming and very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was my first time getting dreads and I searched Google four place and this place came up. I’m glad I went there it was a very cold day and the warm and welcoming treatment I received that day was very much needed. This place feels like my home! MyRhonda hooked me up with a loc re-twist & updo, as a walk-in client, in less than 2.5hrs. The staff here are amazing! They will make you feel so good after your visit. Would definitely come back as a regular.

Let me start off saying Paul and his team is awesome and so welcoming. The customer service is excellent, the stylist who did my hair was Johnthan he was great, Paul was also there helping and giving tips. I love how they all work as a TEAM . My experience from the beginning till I walk out that salon was one of a of a kind. The price is affordable, the atmosphere is nice. I haven’t been in a hair salon in over 20 years, I definitely will be coming back in 3 weeks for my Locs maintenance

My stylist was late seeing me for both of my appointments. The first time I went in, he still had a client in his chair and I waited for almost 35 minutes… no apology and I still managed to purchase his scalp oil, loc sock and tipped. The second time I went in, I was about 10 minutes early so I sat in my car a bit. I noticed that he was outside so I went in thinking that he would too.. I was greeted when I came in and I let the person know I had an appointment with Flip. He said he’ll be back in about 5 minutes. 15 minutes went by and the owner sent another stylist to let Flip know I was waiting and it took him another 10 minutes to come in. He did not come back into the salon until 25 minutes after my appointment time… No apology.. After he put me under the dryer, he went back outside. When the dryer was finished, the owner asked if I had my stylists’ number to call him and let him know the dryer stopped (confused) I responded I guess… I could see that the owner was also a little confused by this because I was waiting when I arrived and was once again waiting around for my stylist. Flip does an AMAZING job with my hair and I feel very comfortable sitting in his chair but the same expectations you have for clients (being on time) should also apply to the stylist. Having said all of that, I do recommend this salon but with reservations.

I had wonderful experience at this Salon!!! Paul, Jonathan and Jeffrey were all very professional and really nice!! I believe this will be my new salon!! Jonathan did my beautiful color. Jeffrey did an amazing job washing and conditioning my hair and Paul did a fabulous job with my maintenance and style.

So I will start with a similar experience I seen in the reviews. My boyfriend scheduled me an appointment as a Valentine’s Day gift back on January 20! I was beyond excited as I had been following Pstyles on ig for years now. After 5+ years of doing my own locs that are now 8 years old. I couldn’t wait to sit in a chair and have my hair done. I arrived at the location and was greeted immediately. When the young man asked my name and I stated I had an appointment he looked like he had no clue who I could have an appointment with. When I showed him my style seat appointment he spoke with the stylist who stated I was not on his books. (It was in my boyfriends name however we figured that out early in in the search for my appointment) Of course I was amazed at how when this appointment was booked almost two months ahead!!!!Here is where it went wrong form me! The response was not what I expected with customer service. I was told he did not have me on schedule and was shown my appointment was canceled. WHICH I DID NOT DO! He stated he does not handle his appointments and did not know how it was canceled ( i needed to contact style seat) In addition he let me know he did not feel well and could not do my hair.After that he did offer me to see one of his other stylist he trained. Well this is when it went completely left for me. Once he walked over to ask two stylist they looked over at me and my hair and shook their heads no as if I was not standing there he giggled back and stated to me that I can come back at 1pm or call in an hour and he would work something out.At this point the vibes, energy, and lack of accountability made me know I would not be coming back and would complete this review to help the next person who considers booking here!I was never asked how far I came which was a half hour drive so to go and come back would of been a waste of time. In addition I took the day off work (which I can not get back). So all in all customer service is very very important next to accountability. I am glad I am able to share my experience and very disappointed in the service or lack of service provided. As he says be blessed however step up your customer care! Critical: ProfessionalismI have 1 month old two strand twist starter locs that were done elsewhere. When I went in and was seated at the shampoo bowl, I was immediately told my locs were too small and that Pstyles does not do small locs. I was told they were more like microlocs. I was told that I would be done this time and that the stylist (Pstyles) would have to see how long it took to determine if I’d be taken on as a client. The person who shampooed my hair was nice and efficient. There wasn’t really any discussion about my hair, just a quick and efficient palm roll. I know it’s a no-no to look in the mirror during an appointment at any hairstylist so I did not. I thought the rapport was nice. I had a few questions about the products he sold and they were answered. I was told that he (Pstyles) would take me on as a client. I was very appreciative and thanked him for taking me. Where my starter locs used to be full, they were palm rolled tightly almost all the way down to the end. Me being new to the process, thought only the new growth would be rolled/tightened. He said see you in a month. I knew it was the end of the day (and his birthday weekend) so I left and unfortunately forgot to buy my products. Afterward, I asked (texted) a simple question regarding the fullness of my hair. “ Hi! I’m the young lady who just left with the two strand twist starter microlocs. I thought a retwist would’ve mainly included the new growth. Will they be full like they were again?” Instead of educating me, he ignored the text which I figured would be answered the next business day. It’s his birthday weekend and he’s off the clock, no big deal. Then when I tried to book my next appointment, I am unable to. It says booked all the way to 2023. When I go under someone else’s profile I see open appointments so I’m assuming I have been blocked as I was able to book after using someone else’s phone number and not my own. I’d heard that he was unprofessional from others with locs, but I didn’t think it’d be like this. I thought I could handle it. That’s okay, I’m sure there will be others to fill my spot so I’m sure he doesn’t really care. Not one person even bothered to ask my name. I can say there is good camaraderie among his coworkers.
