I am a regular client of Natural Kinx salon however this was my first time back post COVID. I was bummed to find out my old stylist had left and was uncertain about obtaining a new stylist. However my hesitancy was quickly diminished as the owner referred me to a recently hired stylist named ASHLEY. After introducing myself over text and explaining to her what I was looking for Ashley was QUICK TO RESPOND in a professional way. She further allowed me to set up a consult to discuss the style to make sure that she understood exactly what my needs were. I thoroughly appreciated this consult as it helped us solidify our plan of action. After sharing my ideas and Ashley giving her insights we were able to combine my vision with her vision and come up with an amazing hairstyle! Her CREATIVITY and WILLINGNESS to adapt her vision to mine was incredible! At that point we set up an appointment to get the style done however she was exposed to covid and immediately texted me to let me know that we needed to postpone my appointment until she got the results back. (YET ANOTHER example of her professionalism and concern for her clients.) The results were negative and we were able to proceed with my appointment with her wearing an n95 mask which was greatly appreciated. The actual appointment itself was AMAZING. She is such a ray of light, and a GREAT HOST, making you feel as comfortable as can be in the salon. She offered me tea and allowed me to settle in and eat my food before getting started. She was receptive to my Autistic needs and come to find out she has former experience WORKING WITH DISABILITIES which deepened my comfortability overall. Talk about being MULTI-TALENTED! My experience with Ashley overall CHANGED MY LIFE! (Never thought a hair appointment could do that) but you see it wasn’t just the hair appointment itself; it was her demeanor, the high vibrations, positive attitude, patience,humor, her openness, kindness, compassion, empathy and SO MUCH MORE! ASHLEY wasn’t just a hairstylist to me. In my one hair session, she became a MENTOR and somebody that I looked up to. The stories we shared back and forth were one of a kind. Who knew what a blessing she would become in my life, all because of a new hairstyle and in that I WAS GIFTED SOMETHING I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED! I will definitely be going back for all my hair care needs and I encourage you to book an appointment with her for you will not be disappointed! High quality customer service is very lacking in so many industries yet Ashley was lacking nothing at all. I am grateful for all she did for me. I’m grateful for having met her and I am grateful for the owner for having referred me to her in the first place. ASHLEY if you are reading this continue to shine that BRIGHT LIGHT! MAY YOU BE SUPPORTED IN ALL YOUR ENDEAVORS! MAY YOU BE BLESSED AND BE THE BLESSING AND SO IT IS!

Sistah Ashley did a great job providing service for my 6 year old daughter. My daughter came in for wash, re-twist for loc and style. Very clean and nice shop with Great energy. Great Salon located right next to shades of Africa. Its clean and smells absolutely heavenly inside. All of the women are very talented, and genuinely welcoming. Sahniyah did my hair and is well versed in natural hair care and Maintenance. Highly recommend you check them out for your natural hair care needs.
