Angelique is the best when it comes to locs and professionally. Her appointments are set and she keeps the schedule. The shop is clean and tidy. Did I mention I leave out of there with my hair looking and feeling absolutely gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️

I started my locs here and have enjoyed my experience the quality of service for what I pay great. It is a chill relaxed atmosphere. Nice people work there. Every now and then there will be a wait but I never schedule my appointment during a day where I need to be in and out quickly. Be patient and enjoy the environment.

I am new to the Richmond area and had called several other salons. They all told me to call back later or stated they would give me return call and never did. This salon scheduled me right away and sent me an email confirmation as well as I reminder. I only waited a few minutes once I arrived and the results were excellent. I have received many compliments. I will definitely be returning. My stylist was Jennifer !

The staff seemed to be too self-involved starting with the receptionist. I arrived at my appointment about 30 min early and waited about 5 minutes while the receptionist had a seemingly private phone conversation before having me fill out a survey regarding my hair. After she finally got off the phone she then took the survey which did not seem to make it to the stylist being that she asked me all of the same questions that were on it. It was clear that my stylist was not current on education once I began asking questions about hair patterns and the categories they fall in. She also got water in my face while rinsing my hair with out acknowledging that it was done. After almost finishing my hair cut, she asked if she could start her next client before she finished the cut. I felt that that was very poor customer service on her part, especially because I was 30 min early. The appointment could have either been started earlier or scheduled better to accommodate me and her next client. On top of all that, the girl didn’t actually cut ALL of my relaxer out. I have had to cut it myself every time I do a new look. This salon seems to cater to people with dread locs instead of general natural hair care. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Visited yesterday for the first time and had a really good experience! Went to get a wash, condition, retwist and style on my starter locs. Nice atmosphere and prompt service! Was able to call and come right in. Loved the natural products that were used. Have been to 4 different places (included people’s homes) and this place had the most reasonable price ($85) for the what I wanted, my hair was impeccable and I can tell it’s going to last me much longer than any of the other styles I’ve got from other places. Alecia did an excellent job. Very friendly and displayed great customer service.

Natural Beauty is my Go to spot for the care and styling of my locs. Alecia has been hooking my hair up for the last few months…hence my lovely updo in my profile picture. The salon is convenient to an area I already frequent (its right behind the Kroger I live in, lol). I’ve never been waiting long or dissatisfied with my hair since she started doing it. My locs are healthy and growing well under Alicia’s capable hands and it doesn’t hurt that she’s a nice lady. I enjoy our conversations during my appointments and look forward to seeing what she will come up with next time. It’s also a breeze to schedule your appointments online just make sure you get an approval or confirmation email. If you should pay her a visit, please tell her you were referred by Tameka Pleasants review on Google.

Visited this salon to get my dreads that I personally began growing done. They’ve NEVER been tackled by anyone other than myself, so they weren’t easily tamed. The consultant Angelyn, whom assisted me, made sure that my hair was done properly, AND paid an intense amount of attention to how I’d already uniquely dreaded my hair. She washed my hair and left my scalp feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. As well as clean and fresh.

I’m so happy to have found this salon, and Angelynn especially. She does a great job maintaining my locs and styles my hair without using rubber bands and Bobby pins so I can keep it up for more than two days. Scheduling (and rescheduling) is a breeze. Either her or the receptionist calls back if I’m not able to reach anyone immediately.
