Yaya is the most talented hair stylist I know. Not only is she exceptionally skilled in styling hair, but she is also a master of spreading joy and light to everyone she encounters. Yaya cares about her clients’ total selves. What she does is so much more than hair. She pours love and encouragement into every single client– we all leave feeling loved AND our hair looks bomb. She’s always on time and I love that one on one time that you receive. I love how she washes my locs and scalp. It always feels so clean after she finishes. I also love how she styles my locs. I love YaYa! I tell everyone about her and her services all the time. She is the most professional and sweetest hairstylist in the 757. When I say say she always gets you right and executes the style you ask for, she does! She’s always on time and I love that one on one time that you receive. I love how she washes my locs and scalp. My child goes to get her hair braided and Yaya is patient and understanding each time (she is tender headed and sometimes can get a little finicky); just all around good with kids. She has also gotten a silk press from her and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I want to start off by saying if your children are in need of hair styling services, bring them to Yaya! My child goes to get her hair braided and Yaya is patient and understanding each time (she is tender headed and sometimes can get a little finicky); just all around good with kids. She has also gotten a silk press from her and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The vibes are wonderful at the salon and you can tell right away that you will not be treated as just a client filling her chair.

Visited for the first time recently to have my locs washed and retwisted. Hadn’t had them professionally done in a few years. Stylists were very professional and patient and did an amazing job on my locs. Also offered advice for at-home maintenance which I appreciated. Shop was quiet, clean, and in a good location. She is very gentle and treats your hair as such. Only thing I hate is when I forget to book in advance and she’s end up booked up 🙁 lol. But I love her!!!Service: Hairstyling
