This place is awesome! I want to start by saying my husband was in the military for 9 years so when it comes to barbershops I’ve seen some of the greatest haircuts and some that were not so good. I’ve been to many, many barbershops. So with that being said I would say I know what to expect when going into a barbershop.I moved to W. Columbia about 2 years ago I didn’t know where to start taking my son.I started by going to a few that I won’t mention here and I got a not so good experience with each one. One barbershop took my son because his dad took him in but the next two times I tried using them, when it was just me, they said they wasn’t taking any more heads which is a little upsetting when you drive 20 mins so we decided to not go there anymore. The other I went to I sat and waited while 8 people went ahead of me and that’s fine because I understand people have appointments but the type of hairstyle they delivered was not worth the wait, the line up was so uneven and I’m just being honest. Again, I won’t put the names out there but we tried a few before finding this place. From the very first time I walked into Nate’s Barbershop , I felt welcomed. I’m pretty sure the owner is who does my sons hair and he is amazing at cutting hair. We’ve been 4 or 5 times and every time he has delivered amazing results.The other guy working at the second chair does very good cuts as well that I have seen myself while waiting on my son. I couldn’t be happier with this barbershop I definitely won’t be looking anywhere else. My brother came into town and I took him here as well as my little brother in law and they put some cool designs in his hair. I’m so thankful for finding this place and thankful for the people working who make you feel welcomed.

Love this Barbershop. I get cut by Shook who does an amazing job no matter what I ask for. They all are pretty friendly which is awesome as well. Go in come out when it’s not too busy which ain’t often. Spends a great deal of time making you look great! Definitely come here!

Eddie is my boys barber. He is very professional and prompt. Overall I think all the barbers are great. This barbershop has a good atmosphere and it’s clean and well kept. I would give ten stars if I could!!

I only gave 1 star because Google made me. I paid $60 for 3 haircuts 2 boys under 10 and 1 adult male. Shook screwed all 3 haircuts up. My oldest son has patches of long hair and his bangs cut past his tapeline. My other son asked for a design I not only got charged more for that it looks like my 2 yr old did it. The adult haircut was just as bad with his bangs cut past his tapeline. I dont know if he is fresh out of school or what but he needs to find a new profession. I wish I could post the pictures. Then when I asked for a refund he said no he would fix it. Like I really want you to touch anybody’s head again. He refuses a refund period. Pretty shady if you ask me.
