the guy cutting my hair was super rough with pushing my head and very rude. told me he’d charge me for two haircuts if he had to cut my hair (because it’s long) so that being said he did a horrible job and didn’t listen to what I requested. they are terrible at fades and can’t taper for nothing…. he told me he didn’t like my choice of haircut so made me feel bad for picking it but he did it anyway with a HORRIBLE attitude. will never come back and I don’t recommend to anyone. my brother tried them too and had the same experience…

I went there as a walk in and I was cut in less than an hour. It’s a nice looking shop with enough chairs for about 50 people and flat screens to busy your time while you wait. I went in for an undercut (since some places won’t do them) and they really did a good job. The prices are pretty reasonable, considering you want a good cut. The social aspect of the shop is lively, and full of gossip, but it’s a barbershop people! It’s my go to shop now.

I’m definitely returning with my son to Nappy or Knot Barbershop. I was greeted when I came in asked if I had an appointment. Surprisingly, I only waited approximately 15 minutes. All the Barbers were professional and friendly! There’s even games for kids to play while you wait. A+

I take my 2yr old grandson here and (Stan the Barber) is very patient, kid friendly and has done a excellent job cutting my G-baby’s hair. The atmosphere is very clean and best of all he display professionalism and uses appropriate language around kids. However (I usually take him early in the week.)

I found Nappy or Knot via a Google search, and was stoked to find out that they we’re only 5 or so minutes from my home, in the same complex as the Planet Fitness I regularly go to.

I brought my son in a few weeks ago and I liked the cut, so I called again to try to schedule him another appointment and the barber who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional so I’d rather drive further out of my way to get his haircut than to be disrespected. It’s really sad because I believe in supporting black businesses whenever I can but sometimes the way they handle business is the cause of their own downfall.
