I have been patronizing Nanshua for too many years to remember. I’ve gotten a variety of hairstyles, including natural, weaves, and now micro links. Nanshua can do it all and very well. She is so skilled and such a lovely person. I usually detest going to hair salons- but hers is different. It’s private and she will gladly wear a mask if asked. I highly recommend her salon. In this day and age it’s the only way to go and be in style!

Nanshua’s Beauty Bar is the only place my mother & I go to for our hair needs. We are of Middle Eastern & Asian decent – so our hair is not the easiest to deal with. I found Nanshua 6 years ago, and since then, I have never been happier with my hair. It’s naturally curly & dark brown/black. She’s helped me become a redhead, a platinum blonde, and back to my natural color with no damage. Her haircuts are exactly what I ask for (never too much off; just the perfect amount) and her talent beats any other person whose ever touched my hair. I used to be a salon manager in Suffolk County & a salon owner in Queens – I have yet to see skills like that of Nanshua’s. My mom, who just turned 60, gets a full head of highlights / touch-ups and her haircut with Nanshua every few weeks. She has never been happier with her hair, just like myself. She seems nice, however, I booked an appointment for a Magic Sleek a week in advance to be cancelled on day of when I called to confirm how I should prepare my hair. She said I could come in 3 days later but I’ll be out of the country by then. Not booking another appointment here
