Severely damaged my daughter’s hair. May have used chemicals or a relaxer without my daughter knowing (another hairdresser who tried to fix the damage said that’s what it looked like). Her hair is now breaking off from the amount of heat (or chemical?) used. Very sad. My daughters curls are usually beautiful and thick. It has been months and the damage she has caused has yet to reverse. My daughter is praying to God it be fixed. Go to another stylist if you value your natural hair.

The salon is very clean, she did a great job and process was very reasonable. She works really fast as well. I don’t like a lot if heat on my hair, she listens and adjusts accordingly.

First time here but my second time at a Dominican salon and I really enjoyed it. She pays attention to her client and attention to detail and styling when it comes to hair. I’m pretty tender-headed but she easily accommodated me to make sure my experience was comfortable and I greatly appreciated that:)

If you have Afro hair- especially 4C I would recommend you not visit. My hair is damaged. My curls are no longer the way they were before I visited her. There is no bounce and elasticity as of now. There are straight strands all through out my hair. I have had my hair straightened a few times before going to her and I have never seen my hair look like this after washing it out. The crazy thing is I only asked her to wash and blow dry (which was way too much heat!!) yet she insisted she iron it as well and that is my fault for not staying firm with my no. She didn’t put much heat protectant. In addition, when I was done I kept smelling like my hair had a relaxer/perm in it. I thought I was going crazy but now the state my hair is in I don’t put it past it. I am so sad and heartbroken. My hair has never been damaged like this before.
