When we walked in we were seated and began soaking our feet. Immediately, the girls came over with a pedicure book and told us to choose which one we want. I just started looking at the book and they came over and started pressuring me and my two guests to choose the highest priced pedicure. I told them I wanted to look at the other pedicures and they kept pushing me to get the most expensive and took the book from me before I could continue to look at the other pedicures. They also took the books from my guests. The women were very pushy and kept trying to get me to buy manicures. I told them “no thanks” about five different times. It was difficult to relax because they talked in their native language most of the visit. They are not customer service oriented and seem to be very greedy. Almost $300 later and I will never go back.

I love Chloe and highly recommend her for a pedicure. However, after today I will not be coming back for hand nail services. I don’t know what it is about nail salons and them not wanting to prepare your nail beds properly WITHOUT an additional cost or push back from the techs, when they do it for your pedicure without a problem. I have noticed that when I ask for my nail bed to be pushed back and for my cuticle to be -CUT- not drilled, PRIOR to them putting any powder onto your nail, your nail lasts longer. So I always request it. The only three times I’ve been here I’ve requested that simple thing. They huff and puff and then say it’s going to be $15 extra. I don’t understand why you prepare the toe nail bed but can’t do it all the same for your hand nails. From the moment I came in my request was to remove my acrylic powder since I had grown out my own nail, and to have a dip set and I was answered to my request with the comment “why you want to do that?!” Then – after a $65 pedicure, ( that included a 10 min massage that I did not get, and sat the length of my pedicure with my hands in acetone that had my nails burning), I remind the tech I had requested for my nail bed pushed back and cuticles to be cut, she made a face and tells me “that’s fine but it’s going to be another 30-40 minute wait until your nails dry before I can put dip on them”. (When the previous 2 techs had done it no issue). So I’ve already been there 4 hours so I say it’s fine for her to do it after. See Then once she takes my nails out of the bowl she had them in to soften my cuticles to cut them, she comments to me “your high maintenance huh?”… I then pause, tell her “no, I simply know what I want to get done and also my anniversary is on Tuesday and I won’t have time these next few days so I want to make sure they look nice.” -no comment from her at all. (Wendy, was her name by the way). If a man goes to the barber and asks for a hair cut and requests a line up with it- that’s not high maintenance- that’s is a SERVICE THEY ARE OFFERING HE CAN REQUEST. I’m tired of asking for a services THEY OFFER, and being serviced like it’s a drag for requesting it. THEN, DON’T OFFER THE SERVICE TO BEGIN WITH. OR. Tell your techs to go if they don’t want to do the work YOU -AS A SALON-ARE OFFERING. And to top it all off I end up going home with bubbles in my nails. My total was $150. For a service that took almost 4.5 hours that was NOT enjoyable.

Very disappointed. The lady that did my nails. I told her how long and how I wanted them, I’m paying for them. She did them so nasty and ugly!!! Just look at them. I told her and she said she’ll do French tip so they could longer.smh.i used yo love this place. I think I will look for another place to go. This isn’t the length, the shape, nor how I told her how I wanted them. Im so upset

When I first entered Nails plus I was greeted in approached very nicely but from the moment I sat in the chair I immediately felt stressed and rushed, I wasn’t sure how to clearly communicate other than what I wrote on the paper about how I want to do to the amount of pressure that I was put under. I’m very disappointed with my nails as the total between my toes and my hands came out to $100 including a tip about $110 I am disabled so it’s hard for me to find transportation to and from wherever I need to go so this was a hassle, and I was on a time crunch so I was unable to communicate with the staff that I was unhappy.
