This place is fantastic if you care about having a good conversation with the staff. I went Here for months after covid and they were so clean and timely. I always loved my nails. They recently had a loss of staff and are having a hard time keeping up. I decided To stop using this facility solely based on watching the nail tech use the same emery board on every client. Also watching the girl doing my pedicure grab the same took kit that was just used on the lady next to me without sanitizing. I was So disgusted I never Came back. Which sucks because I really Enjoyed the environment. Just wish they’d sanitize as they were during covid.

So. The exact look I went in expecting to get is what I got. Same color match and everything. The guys name who done the ACTUAL design on my 2 middle nails is Wilson & he also done my grandma’s nails too!! They also do pedicures, which I will do next time I go. And eyebrows.. Absolutely love the place, little & cozy, in and out fairly quickly.. definitely recommend!! 🙂 Update: Sept 25, 2021. Newest set. Update: October 9, 2021 my daughter and 2 nieces got their nails done here and they took good care of them! Their nails are absolutely beautiful!! December 19, 2021 update on Christmas nails!!

I was visiting family I the area and I went in and got a fantastic pedicure. Very nice tech great job. I went back the following week when I was in town again for dip powder and I’m furious! I paid almost $25 more than I pay at my normal salon in my hometown and within 2 days there were pieces falling off my nails. I now have 4 nails that have pieces that have fallen off for no reason. I do dip powder all the time and I have for many years but I have never experienced anything like this!!

Cut the bunion on my left foot with scrub sponge, it’s still not healing, and that was Fathers Day . They did offer $100.00 discount at next appointment but forgot, so got it on 3rd appointment but he cut my finger under nail and no apology. Plus raised prices enough I ended up with no discount at all. Gel manicures, Pedicure

The young lady that did my pedicure was very nice and did a great job but when I switched to get my nails powder dipped the old lady (Doris) she started to tell me it was goin to be more money then listed on the wall. I questioned why it was more then what was listed and more then I paid last time. The lady started adding services I didn’t ask for and I let her know I didn’t want the extra service. She stated she does it every time. I told her she had not any other time I’ve been in there to have my nails powder dipped. She didn’t say anything else till I went to pay and still tried to charge me extra for services I didn’t ask for and didn’t get. After she charged me the correct amount she told me next time I can go somewhere. I told her she is very rude to customers and treats her employees awful!!!! I will never go back and if she left the business would do so much better cause everyone else is very nice and does an amazing job!

My best friend and I come here every two weeks religiously now. We’ve visited a couple other places between here and Iowa city. This salon is the best one around. Their prices are extremely fair, they always offer refreshments, and the staff are a ton of fun. I would go in for the atmosphere alone, but their work is top notch and keeps us coming back!!!

This experience was terrible but made slightly better by Doris and Geraldine. An Asian man not sure his name, was extremely rude and had an attitude from the moment I called the salon. Ima skip the long story and get to the point. This man cut my moms nail where it meets the skin. She kept telling him to stop because it hurt and he was not responsive to her pain. He pulled it off causing her toe to swell and bleed. His excuse he said he “doesn’t do ingrowns” Yet he has his cosmetology license to practice? He cut the nail and walked away. Didn’t add any alcohol or anything to deal with the pain or stop the bleeding. Doris stepped in after we threatened to leave. Doris did a good job, however no discounts or apology where given.
