I always try to leave positive reviews for company but I just cannot…. This place is dirty! I had an appointment for 3 people getting pedicures at 2 p.m. they sat us at about 2:10 p.m. and did not start working on us until abt 2:25 p.m. by this time my water was cold. I saw 2 of the guys that were doing our pedicures in the back eating. I got a simple white polish on my toes. The polish was a bit thick so he proceeded to put acetone in it to thin it and I asked him not to but he kept putting it in. I do not want thinned nail polish on my toes because it chips within days. I kinda expected more with this business being in Brecksville.

I would honestly give zero stars for the experience I just had. I called and made an appt for 1:30pm for a gel manicure and arrived at 1:30pm. I was on my lunch break, hence the appt. Not one person working there greeted me or even looked at me when I walked in. Eventually someone noticed me after I was looking at polish colors. She provided me a gel color swatch and showed me the station where I’d be sitting. Every single nail tech was busy doing either a manicure or pedicure. Again, why did I make an appt? After I sat at the station, once again no one acknowledged my existence. Finally, around 1:50pm I asked how much longer and was told 5 minutes. No one really looked like they’d be done in 5 minutes. I asked how long their manicures usually take and was told 20-25 minutes, which is normal, but this is why I made an APPOINTMENT. Because I knew I’d need around 25-30 min total. I ended up leaving because I didn’t have time to be there another 30 minutes. I normally don’t even leave bad reviews but this experience deserved one. I’ll never go back there.

I chipped a nail at work yesterday after just getting them dipped here last weekend. I was so sad–Cookie had done a beautiful job. I called and they were so sweet about fixing it for me. It was done super quickly, looks perfect and was a complimentary service. This whole staff is fantastic and Cookie is a great nail artist!

My personal favorite tech is Mikey, but honestly you can’t go wrong no matter who you get. Cookie and Tracy are both FANTASTIC, and I have never not been satisfied when I go to either them.I am never one to write negative reviews that include names, but I feel in this circumstance it needs to be said. Every time I’ve received a manicure from Emily, I always leave with at least one finger bleeding and a very poorly done manicure.I visited the salon about a week ago and got Emily as my tech. She nicked me with the nail drill 3 different times while taking off my gel (which I should add was very far grown out, so not even that close to my cuticle…). She then proceeded to clean the skin around my nails, but cut way too much off; this left them very sensitive, and one bleeding ever so slightly. Anyway, she finishes a semi decent paint job and I head home for the night. Fast forward to the next morning, and I wake up with a raging infection on the finger she made bleed by cutting back too far. Topical treatments took a while, but the infection slowly started to go away. the staff at master nails is SO friendly and hilarious. great prices and i always feel better after i leave. the people at master nails NEVER fail to brighten my day (and my nails). i just recently got a gel polish change and could not be happier with it. love these people so much.

Have been going here 2-3 times a month for a couple years now. The change in ownership was a good thing. Ask for “Cookie” does a great job with gel nails – every time. Great place for a manicure or pedicure. The hours have improved. The best way is to schedule an appointment – they keep adding technicians, so the wait time for walk-ins seems manageable. Nice to be a regular.
