I have been coming to Kim and Sam for years. They are top notch people. So kind. They work by appointment only. Call the salon to make an appointment. They don’t take walk ins- as that disrupts the time and care they show to the customer in the chair in front of them. As for the yelling comments- Kim has on music and the air/heat is on- which both make noise where she sits- so she may have spoken loudly because of this-so you can hear here. I appreciate that they work by appointment only- because Kim or Sam always take me on time. Never wait one minute. Kim talks to you about any subject- or- if you enjoy silence, she knows to not interrupt your thoughts. I have gone to many salons- where I am told “10 min wait”…and I wait forever or walk out. Unless I move out of NJ, I will be going to Nails Plus!!

Critical: ProfessionalismI was searching places to get my nails done in the area and by far this one had the best reviews. So I go around 1pm on weekday because I assume it wasn’t busy. The female owner was finishing a clients nails And the male owner was sitting down . The female owner was rude and yelled at me from across the room “Do you have an appointment?” I told her I didnt And I wasn’t aware I had to make one. Before I could Even finished she yelled again “We only work by appointment, bye.” So I left. I didn’t notice any post anywhere in the salon that they only work by appointment but even if there was there was no need to be rude or yell. Once she found out I didnt Have appointment she didn’t even bother to ask me if I wanted one or if I can Come back. Don’t waste your time. Woman was rude when she found out I didn’t have an appointment even though it’s not posted anywhere that you need one. “We have a schedule”, was all she could be bothered to say to me when it would’ve taken her 30 seconds to offer me an appointment at another time. This was my first time trying a local salon in over a year and now I know for sure that I’m better off going to places by my job. Even when they’re packed after work they aren’t rude and I might have to wait a few minutes but at least they want my business. People are always talking about suppoting local businesses, especially after the slow summer around here, but I’d rather be treated right than to give my money to rude people just because I live in this town.

If I had to describe my experience at Nails Plus in one word, it would be lovely. Today was my first time in the salon after trying various nail salons in the area. I’ve been disappointed with other salons for various reasons. I walked in to Nails Plus today hoping to have a great experience with hopes of finding a nail salon that I can stick with regularly. After leaving today I’m very confident I’ll be going back as my salon of choice. The salon is run by a woman and her husband who are a lovely couple. They were both so kind, sincere, welcoming, and the salon is very peaceful with a lovely lake view. I felt very relaxed and they also have great pedicure massage chairs! One thing I loved seeing that’s truly special about Nails Plus is that Kim is a true artist. She is an amazing painter. She has beautiful paintings that she has painted herself throughout the salon. Although I got a basic gel mani and pedi, I can only imagine how her nail designs would come out! I’m so very happy I found this nail salon and it will truly be my pleasure to bring my business here. Thank you Sam and Kim for such a lovely experience at your salon!
