DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. I came for a simple manicure and pedicure and came out worse than i did going in. During, I tried to tell them that she was being too rough. Language barrier aside, I communicated distress and she disregarded and kept going. At the end, I realized they cut into my nail bed on one finger and left deep scratches on every single fingernail on both hands. None of the employees could buff it out so they didn’t charge me for it. That’s how bad it was. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Wanted a marble design, but they don’t know how to do it. Settled for white and it looks okay, I’m just glad he painted close to my cuticle unlike the other nail shop I went to that said they can’t do it. It was empty I went around 9:35 am on a Tuesday and the nail tech took his time which I liked. Fill in $20 + gel polish $10.

Critical: QualityThis is not my normal nail salon, but it is very close to my home so I decided to give it a shot as I wanted a simple service. I stopped in on Monday afternoon around 3:45 PM for an acrylic removal, which I thought would be a very simple process. This ended up being one of the worst experiences I have ever. The technician cut my finger with the drill, which is not the end of the world because accidents happen, but she didn’t even pause or offer an apology and immediately stuck my fingers back in acetone after cutting me. She constantly went over my cuticles and fingers with the drill and at one point attempted to pry the acrylic off with a metro card. The removal wasn’t done properly as there is still acrylic on my nail at this very moment, which I didn’t fully notice until I got in my car. It didn’t seem worth going back and risking more cuts and frustration. The salon was not crowded at all and it was not late so I’m not sure why I received such poor service. This was a terrible first impression and I would never get a manicure or pedicure here considering how horribly a simple soak off went. This is not my normal nail salon, but it is very close to my home so I decided to give it a shot as I wanted a simple service. I don’t know another nail salon that starts off your acrylics so thick…. Plus the shaping of the nails are always fat and completely square especially the thumbs and the lining of ANYTHING is never correct. I always end up getting cut in the process too.. today I have two cuts from being rough, on two different fingers. I come here because it’s very close to my home plus it was an emergency.

Critical: QualityI went to get my nails redone and I asked for hearts on my nails. They tried do the hearts and it didn’t work out. Every design I showed them was they couldn’t do it. My nail broke a day after I got it done. I went there and I still had to pay for them to fix my nail.Service: Acrylic nails

This was my 1st time going to Nails Plaza and I so loved the service I received. I needed a last minute pedicure for a surprise party I was attending Friday night( the “old dogs” were barking ) & missed my 6:30p appt.@my regular nail salon( I ran into mad traffic right after leaving work@6p which turned into a 45-50 minute commute vs. my regular 30-35 minute commute driving). My regular nail tech asked me to reschedule my appt. because the shop was closing their doors@7p. So, while sitting in traffic, I called my friend to see if she knew of any nail salons that had late closings on Fridays. She referred me to Nails Plaza in Hillside, NJ & that the shop closes @7:30p (which was 10 minutes from my house). I arrived there@7:10p & received the best pedicure service I’ve ever experienced. ☺️ (Thus, the reason I gave the salon 5 ⭐’s.) I plan on going back to Nails Plaza again. Kudos Nail Plaza.

Stella is the absolute best in there! Steve is the only man doing nails & he is rude and rough. Depending when you come there may be a 30-minute wait. They definitely need the upgrade their nail polish color selection. Most polish on display for use is dated. Overall, it’s decent. They definitely need to work on their customer service soft skills.

I would give 0 stars, but unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to post my comment. I used to always go here, but their customer service is so TRASH! I don’t know if some of the workers believe in their minds they are better than some people, because they definitely cannot speak. Also, they need to be careful of what they say, because I can understand Spanish. I’ve witnessed too many judgmental comments while being serviced about others and 2 incidents at different times as I was walking in there. I’m actually upset, because I never took/take the time to comment about a business under their website, but I had to today.

Not bad. Just a little language barrier but if you show a picture of what you want they can do it.
