Visited here on Monday for the first time and got a gel manicure. Lee greeted me and was super nice and got me seated immediately. Everything was fine until two people came in behind me and they didn’t have any workers to help them so he told them to wait 10 minutes and he started rushing my manicure. My nails weren’t prepped completely and my GEL manicure started chipping and lifting up off of my nails after 48 hours—they didn’t even last until Wednesday afternoon. I wanted to have my nails done for Friday because I’m going to a graduation. I have NEVER before had gel chip off of my nails before a week and a half went by after the manicure, so I thought it would be okay to have them done on my only day off this week. I was wrong. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to go back and get them fixed before the graduation, so now my nails are chipping and peeling on both hands and look awful. One of the polished nails lifted so much that it came completely off in one sheet! It is 72 hours after the manicure and one of my fingers is polishless! Probably won’t be returning, because while everyone was super nice and friendly, ultimately they gave me a poor quality gel manicure that didn’t even last two days and that is more important to me than people being friendly. I feel like I wasted my money on these nails.

I was visiting family in the area and wanted to get my nails done. I called for a same day appointment and was accommodated. Lee did a wonderful job on my nails based on a inspiration photo I showed him. He even added a nice lead detail. I was nervous to get acrylics because sometimes nail techs make them bumpy or too thick, but Lee did them very well. It was clear he had returning customers and has built relationships with them.

I love this place. My new nail home. They made feel welcomed. The last place I was going to started to get sloppy with their work. Trying new nail salon is like picking a doctor. My husband and I went to the Nail Expo & Spa Saturday. Kim did my husband’s pedi and Chris did mine. Very please with both! Now saw Lee for my fill and he decorated my nails for Christmas and I am so happy how they turned out. He did a wonderful job and I alive them! Merry Christmas!!

UPDATE 8/24/21: I have been back to Nail Expo & Spa a few times since posting my initial review (below), so I wanted to update it. I took my son for a pedicure, and we both thoroughly enjoyed them. I have also had much more success with both dipping powder and a full set then fill-in. Lee is very good! I recommend making an appointment, since it is a pretty small shop and I’ve seen them have to turn away walk-ins.

I went here for the first time yesterday and got an amazing manicure! Lee did my acrylic fill/shape and a different tech (I didn’t catch her name) did my polish. I made a last minute appointment and they were still able to squeeze me in. My nails were done with such great care and it turned out better than I could have hoped for. I cant stop staring at them, they look so pretty!! I will definitely be returning from now on. It’s been so hard for me to find a good nail place and I’m glad that I finally have!

A must! Miya was my full service nail tech. I was in Baltimore for a layover and needed my nails done. She took her time. She didn’t rush like the people back home in FTL. And I got my brows done as well and she evened them out. I will definitely pick up layover trips to have her service me again.
