Critical: ProfessionalismI booked an appointment to get my nails done 3 weeks in advance using the Booksy app. I have a nail tech that I love but I liked her work and figured I’d give her a shot. 1 week and 1 day prior to my appointment, she sent me a text message at 9PM telling me she needed a deposit of $20. I was out to dinner and not available to do it at the moment so I let her know it wouldn’t be an issue to please remind me tomorrow because I am out. She questioned me being out and responded with “sorry sweetie I need to confirm or I’ll give up the spot. The fact that she is questioning my being out alone was very unnecessary. I had also confirmed that I am available and will send the funds when I get a chance yet she’s still saying that my appointment had been there for a while she’ll have to give it up if I don’t pay. It rubbed me the wrong way as I didn’t understand how you can approach a new client this way. She said it herself, the appointment had been sitting there for a while so she had plenty of time to notify me for the need for a deposit and she failed to do so. Even after that, I responded one hour later that I can send a deposit right then and there and if she can verify if that would still be okay – no response. For someone who needed a deposit so bad and then chose not to respond was ridiculous. And don’t be surprised if she decides to cancel your appointment 30 minutes prior to the service without explanation.Services: Acrylic nails, Manicure

I requested an appointment for a manicure to which she scheduled me a whole week in advance… But I was very disappointed to find that, when I arrived at the location for my service, she texted me that she had “slept in”, then canceled my appointment, and stop responding to all texts/calls of mine.
