customer service was horrible. I came in for a nail repair, man at first table was doing it. he applied nail crooked and I told him, he said “it’s not filed yet. wait. do you do nails? or go back to other salon.” I held silence and waited for him to file. after filing, it was still crooked. so again, I told him and he cut the nail off and told me to go somewhere else instead of just fixing the issue. the nail was leaning to the right.

I called to make an appointment. The woman who picked up told me to come in at 5pm. I was on time, started with my pedi, got the one with the paraffin wax. I was done at 7:30pm. I still had to wait for Ken. Once he sat at his station, the power went out due to a storm, we moved to another station. He was doing a rush job on my nails & I spoke up, Ken snapped at me & I snapped back in response. Horrible experience.The tech didn’t do the pedicure well and also could not even properly polish my toenails. The polish was clumped and pooling at my cuticles. I pointed this out to the tech she then took cuticle nippers and tried to cut off the pooling polish instead of re-polishing my nails. I asked for a square shape, but she rounded off the edges of all of my nails. I ended up having to stop the service and have her remove the polish. I advised that I wasn’t happy with the service and the tech went and got Ken. I advised Ken I didn’t want to pay for the uncharged pedicure service because it wasn’t done properly, and that I had stopped the service and requested the polish be removed. Ken still became confrontational and insisted I pay for the pedicure.

I have tried every system known to man to grow my nails. Going to Holly at Nails by Ken has my nails grown out to a great length. She is a magician!! My mani and pedi always looks fantastic and once you get to know the staff they are all friendly. I love to go on a weekday as it is so quiet and conducive to napping while getting a pedicure!!

This is the second time I came to Ken’s. The first time they made me wait 20 minutes in between mani pedi even though I had an appointment. The lady literally stopped with me and went and took somebody else. I thought I’d give it a second try, the man who waited on me when I came in acted like he was doing me a favor by doing my nails, again I waited 10 minutes in between madi/pedi. If you want service, go elsewhere.

Nails by Ken is always 5 star. He does incredible designs and brings your vision to life. A true nail ARTIST. i live an hour and a half away and will always still come to Nails by Ken!!
