Clean and spacious nail salon. However, my powder gel nails started chipping a few days after. It’s only been one week and this should last at least two considering the upcharge for prefer gel. This was the first time going there so I’m going to try a few more times to determine if it’s a reoccurring situation or an isolated incident.

Better during the pandemic. The first time I had my pedicure done at nails by johana I would rate 5 stars. I got my first pedicure done in early 2021 just as businesses were taking clients. Because my experience was so great the first time, I scheduled an appointment mid June. I walked in and all the precautions during Covid that were taken were Done. It was super crowded and the girl that was at the front said to sit in a chair that was not even ready for a new client. The Saranwrap in the foot bath was still on from a previous client, not ready. The massage chair was not functioning. For me a pedicure and manicure is a treat and something I treat myself to,i don’t get them all the time due to my budget. I know the workers here work hard, but my pedicure was not as previous. The polish was put on way too thick and took forever to dry. Not a great experience anymore.

AMAZING nail salon. Not your typical nail place. The ladies are soooo nice and accommodating. They did a fabulous job on my gel with a marble/gold leaf design. They also shaped my nails and tended to my cuticles better than anyone has. They also didn’t rush which I really appreciate. This will definitely be my go to spot!!

I booked an appointment here over my regular salon because I kept getting Instagram ads and it looked like they did beautiful designs, which they do! However, I arrived at my appointment on time at 11:30 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I wasn’t taken for my pedicure until 12:15- my pedicure took an hour and 15 minutes for a regular pedi with no add ons. Literally the longest regular pedicure of my life! Not to mention, the girl cut my toe and I was bleeding and then continued to go back in to cut more. I had to ask her to stop because I didn’t want any more cuts on my feet. I also did not see them change the plastic lining in the pedicure sinks between customers. Ew. Then I waited for my gel mani. I have to say Johanna was knowledgeable about what needed to be done to my nails to get a chrome manicure. However, the girl that was doing my nails kept getting up and walking away during the manicure, making me wait longer for it to be finished (she would file my nails, then leave, cut my nails, then leave). I’m not overly impressed with the shaping of my nails, but I will survive as they will grow back. I ended up not leaving from my 11:30 am appointment until 2:45pm. It just seemed like they over booked themselves; however, the customers that seemed to be regulars and known on a first name basis were in and out. Honestly, I wouldn’t go back because I just don’t have 3+ hours in my day to wait around at a nail salon, plus it didn’t seem too clean. It wasn’t a friendly environment and definitely over priced. So far it’s been 5 days and my nails have lasted, but I still wouldn’t recommend this place.

I was recommended to this place will big mistake! The friend that recommended no longer goes there cause of bad manicura and pedicures. I have done manicures and pedicures and they chip right away. I went a few times to give them the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake again. NO MORE!! Owner nice at first then nasty when you give your concern about the work on your feet or hands that wasn’t to your satisfaction. People don’t go there if you want to keep your money!!!!!
