More and more Black-owned businesses are emerging and thanks to Yelp, Google and other sites that finally have created a category called “Black-owned” so we can locate each other more easily. Nails by Ellamarie is a black-owned business in the City of the Vallejo, the city of opportunity.This city has another beautiful black rose that’s opened. This nail salon is not like your typical salon. The space is professional, it doesn’t smell like acrylic, very comfortable, clean, no nail clippings on floor. Large choice of mood colors my favorite and other colors your choice of fragrant scrubs. Due to COVID-19 she has covered the county safety and health guidelines she has plastic shield hanging between the customer and the technician, the tubs covered with plastic for your feet. The instruments used are disposable or its pieces. She gives a foot massage so intense you may wake up in La-La land it’s so nice. I have been stopping by trying to ask some questions and see if they can work on my grandmother’s feet for a pedicure. She’s 85 years old, and no matter what time I’ve come, it’s been closed.
