OMG I came in here to do a refill for gel polish. I was charged $60 just to do that and took them 1 hour 15min to get it done. I feel the price is ridiculous. I feel I was overcharged for this service. Next time I would ask before getting it done. Waste of my time and my money. They double charged me!!! How unfair!!! Gel manicures

So here’s the thing, I think they have a great nail tech (ask for Me if you go) and she does amazing work, but the prices are a bit steep, even for this generally overpriced area. It runs me over $60 (plus tip) for a FiILL on acrylics with gel polish. Now, I understand I’m overpaying for convenience, since they are close to my house and usually not busy, BUT they have in the past few months changed something about their gel polish which now frequently chips, cracks and dulls super fast. At first I thought maybe I picked a bad color, that it might have been older or something, but now I wonder if they are cutting the polish to make more money because every time I have gone lately the polish starts to fall apart in a week or so. At the prices they charge, it’s unacceptable so I’ve started going to other places to find someone as skilled as my gal Me elsewhere.

Critical: QualityI will never go here again. They charged to much fir two sets of new acrylic nail with gel. One was long the other shorti. $160,00 is ridiculous. I’m not tipping fir that bs. Nail technicians did not listen to her requests. Nails were made square when she asked for a round look. When the dissatisfaction was expressed to the technician, she walked away to the back of the salon, yelling in her native language. The technician was already told by my girlfriend that she has medical issues but continued to handle her feet roughly, causing pain and redness. The technician was digging her nails into my girlfriend’s toes, which could have broken the skin. The technician was rude and unprofessional. I tried to speak to a manager. I spoke to a woman whom claimed the manager wasn’t present. My nails were overall very shabby and the gel polish was terrible. My cuticles were very rough, my pinky toe nail was less than half covered with polish. The staff was overall okay, the young lady at the front desk was nice and the lady doing my manicure was pretty nice – the owner was an older lady that was rude to not only me, but her employees and other customers. I wanted to leave a generous tip after seeing how the employees were treated, a 40% tip. Unfortunately the owner who ran my card didn’t add the tip I wanted to the bill, I said no problem just run my card again to ensure the lady gets her tip or however you prefer. Pointing out- I had already paid a quite overpriced total for the mani/pedi and a tip isn’t required, but regardless of the sub par job on my nails I still wanted to make sure I tipped. The owner got very upset and vocal to where the majority of people in the salon where looking over to see why she was upset. After a few minutes of trying to understand why the lady was upset I wanted to tip and it being a generous amount, I finally had the lady who did my nails say not to worry the lady was so upset and she understood I just wanted to tip. She promptly got me a Venmo account I could send the tip to.

I could not get pricing prior to services, but was told it’s “around $25” for a gel manicure (was actuallycharged $30). They only take cash for tips, no credit card tips. Some of the staff were friendly but the woman I got was very rude. I would have walked out but my daughter was with me and I didn’t want to embarass her. I will not be back here. I gave 2 stars because my daughter’s gel manicure looked very nice, despite the total disrespect by the technicians.

I’ve really tried with this place multiple times because there’s little to no wait but its not worth it anymore. I’ve bled and left there in so much pain in the past. The last time I went was probably the worst ever because the manager kept leaving every 2 minutes to answer the phone or help someone pay but she skipped steps when she’s come back. For example there was no cuticle oil on my nails and no lotion on my hands not even preparing my nails for the acrylics. Left my nails and hands in terrible crusty dry condition also taking 2 hours to just finish them in general. I never wrote reviews for places but my I’ve really tried with this place. 30$ + tip
